We are independent business owners Kelly and Offir Schwartz, who opened LOFT Home in 2005. As avid travelers, we are inspired by unique designs, patterns, and materials we discover on our global pursuits. Not only do we want to find a way to help others implement these designs into their homes, we want to do so in a manner that is both affordable and realistic for active families. After all, we are busy parents and pet owners ourselves. To that end, we believe that furniture should complement your lifestyle--not dictate it.

Our contemporary furniture store is located in The Domain — Austin’s upscale shopping district — where you will find an array of contemporary furniture and home accessories such as sofas, tables, chairs, rugs, table lamps and bedding. Many of the products we carry are created from eco-friendly materials by artisans who adhere to the highest principals of social responsibility.

We are serious about bringing the best home to Austin. Whether you're shopping for a new home, remodeling your house, or just simply updating your existing decor, we want to be there with you step by step. We are as passionate as you are about creating a comfortable environment for you and your family and we stand behind our products and service, satisfaction guaranteed!

> The team at Loft Home is truly an asset to each project. Titus, Jim, and Jan are so knowledgable about their product that it makes my job sourcing beautiful treasures at Loft Home an easy one. I always look forward to what the latest and greatest finds are from market, and this team does not disappoint. Not only is the Loft team knowledgable, they go out of the way to provide great service and with them behind me on a project, I know that my clients are really the true winners.

**★★★★★ — Jane Reece Interiors, Jan. 2015**

> LOFT Home has always been one of my favorite stores. LOFT provides a full custom design service for your home which includes furniture, bedding, lighting, pillows, rugs, and art. I love taking my clients there so they can actually sit, touch and see the latest products that are hot on the market. The sales team is personal and highly professional. Jan has been so wonderful throughout the years that I can call anytime and quickly get her help. LOFT also invites unique guests from all over the globe to showcase their goods. My favorite was when they had Christiane Lemieux, the founder of Dwell Studio for a book signing. I received a free book and had wonderful libations. Loft is always current and continues to impress. They will make you feel right at LOFT Home.

> The Loft Furniture Store is much more than just a furniture store
> I recently had a new house built in Lakeway, TX just outside of Austin, TX. This was the fourth house that I had owned, but the first time that I had done the décor in a modern-contemporary style. I really wanted to bring a clean, crisp style into the house to compliment my dark hardwood floors, many windows, and tall ceilings. I must admit that I have great eye for design, but was struggling a bit with not turning my idea of modern into too much of grays, silvers, etc.
> My girlfriend and I went to several places in Austin that carried modern furniture, and had become very disappointed with what Austin had to offer in the modern-contemporary style of furniture. All of that changed when we met Jim Chappelow at The Loft Furniture store in the Domain in Austin.
> Jim was very friendly, asked great questions, and really did a thorough discovery of our journey, vision, desires, and frustrations. Jim listened to us and recommended a design service that had a small initial fee that would be refunded towards any purchase we made. We decided that was exactly what we needed, and booked an appointment for Jim to come out to the house.
> It was not more than 10 minutes into having Jim at our house that we knew that Jim Chappelow being in our house measuring rooms, talking about textures, colors, elements, and flow that we had truly just stepped into something very special. We kept a very open mind and allowed Jim to speak freely about where we might be off in our thinking, the suggestions that He had, and the impact to the overall vision.
> That night we drove with Jim back to the store after hours and embarked on a two hour private design appointment that was the most fun I have ever had as a consumer. We had fabrics being pulled, ideas flying, and magic in the air. It was during this time that I could begin to see a very special vision that Jim had for our house to transform this structure into a true modern design work of art.
> The Loft Furniture Store is much more than just a furniture store. They truly provided an “experience” that invested in understanding our goals, seeing our space, and brining a design element to this equation. If this approach was nothing more than an in store “how can I help you” I may have only bought one piece of furniture, maybe nothing, and not had my eyes open to a true professional design consultant and the impact they had our home.
> We would like to thank The Loft Furniture Store and Jim Chappelow personally for going the extra mile to truly create a home that will bring us much joy for years to come. Jim also came out to the house during the final delivery to help us locate furniture, move pillows, and most of all shares in the joy of the final product.
> CONSULTATATIVE\*DESIGN\*VISION\*SOLUTIONS\*SERVICE\*IMPACT
> We could not be more pleased of the IMPACT that this experience has had on our HOME!
> Thanks

> When my husband and I first moved to Austin in March, a friend suggested we go to LOFT to furnish our home. The store is gorgeous and offers unique, beautiful pieces. Jim immediately greeted us and was eager and willing to help us see our vision through (even offering a home consultation which was essential in the design process). We ended up purchasing several pieces including: a sofa, custom ottoman, sofa table, dining room table and custom chairs, two rugs, a couple light fixtures, a casual dining table, and a buffet/side table. We love every piece we've purchased, for its quality and design, and receive many compliments on our home. Thanks Jim and team!

> As a Rhode Island based Interior Designer working on a large project in Austin finding the right local vendors was key. Jan Swanson at Loft Home was instantly on board and helpful. The store has a great aesthetic and extensive assortment. Jan was on top of her inventory and provided thoughtful suggestions. Thank you, Jan for all of your help!!

> LOFT Home + Titus Muncy = Elegant Designs
> Our LOFT Home experience has been enhanced largely due to our designer Titus Muncy. We came to LOFT in search of a sofa manufactured by Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams. From that one piece as inspiration, Titus has worked tirelessly with us to bring our personal style to life in our open floor plan home. He listened to our wants and needs and presented several options in a timely manner. He kept well within our budget, was liaison with various sources, and even kept tabs on the delivery process. He was quick to resolve any issues, no matter how large or small, and we truly feel he was our personal representative from the first day we met. We are thankful to him for giving us a beautiful living space that fells like OUR home.
> LOFT Home is the perfect retail store to represent Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams in the Austin area. Everything from the stores location at The Domain, styles for a vast number of tastes, high end quality goods, inspiring displays throughout the showroom, and the friendly and caring staff make shopping at LOFT Home a fun and stress-free experience.

> Loft Home carries some of my favorite lines and they always provide great service. One of my go to's in Austin for inspiration and amazing finds. Their own custom upholstery line is also a favorite...very affordable and great quality.

**★★★★★ — Michelle Thomas Design, Oct. 2014**

> Everyone at Michelle Thomas Design loves working with the courteous, knowledgeable, and caring design experts at LOFT Home. We are always happy to bring our clients in the store and have a great experience! Two thumbs up!!

> We walked into LOFT a few weeks after closing on our first house. We immediately fell in love with Jim and his approach to our needs. Jim was exceptionally detail oriented and always made time for the numerous questions we had. Having never made such a large investment in furniture Jim made it easy to piece together a look that was original, contemporary, unique to us and affordable. Jim was very respectful of the budget we gave him and I never once felt like he was trying to up sell me. Sometimes when you're working with high end store they can make the customer feel like they are doing you a favor by selling you items. This is not the case at LOFT. Go by and see for yourself!

> We have used LOFT to help furnish our home after an extensive remodel. They are, without a doubt, my favorite store in Austin. Their in-store merchandise is beautiful, their custom furniture is fabulous and their design assistance and customer service is excellent. Five stars all around!

**★★★★★ — Sona, Oct. 2014**

> I have shopped at LOFT Home since it opened and have always loved their style. When I decided to redo our living room I knew I wanted the help of a designer and the look that is LOFT Home. I discovered that LOFT provided design services, free of charge, in addition to the wonderful furniture and accessories they sell. I worked with Jim Chappelow and with his help we transformed my living room. LOFT's furniture lines allow for customizing the fabrics and finishes, so in a sense you get "custom-made" pieces. There are so many choices and options that it took me awhile to narrow down the final selections, but Jim and his fellow designers, Jan and Titus, were patient and helpful in offering suggestions and encouragement. In the end I am thrilled with my new living room and whenever I walk in to LOFT I'm greeted like I'm Norm at Cheers!

> Two years ago I renovated a contemporary home in Austin, TX. My prior home was a traditional colonial in Stamford, CT. I had some great mid-century modern furniture, but I knew I need to buy 2 new couches, reupholster several vintage pieces, and find new accessories. How to pull it all together? The answer was Loft Home and their designer Jim Chappelow. Jim came to the condo we rented while renovating the new house to see what I already had, came to the new house while still under renovation to see the new space, and then worked with me to chose the couches, fabrics for reupholstery and accessories. One-stop shopping! Everything was delivered in a timely manner and the service was great! I loved working with Jim for his creativity, attention to detail, and his ability to listen to what I liked. He definitely inspired me to try some new ideas while respecting the overall feeling I wanted to create. He even recommended an ace upholsterer.
