**★★★★★ — Peggy Gunnels, July 2020**

> Mike and Vicky are a pleasure to work with. Great work ethics and did a fabulous job on the remodel I had done.

**Comment from Oak Alley, Inc.:**

> Thank you so much Peggy! YOU are a pleasure to work with!

**★★★★★ — Elle Williams, Sept. 2019**

> I can't praise Oak Alley enough! We had a good feeling Mike from our very first meeting and were more and more impressed as the process continued. He is professional, knowledgeable, patient and talented. He and his team listened and made excellent suggestions that we'd never even considered. The end result is better than anything we'd hoped for, or even imagined! Having worked with other design and construction companies in Birmingham, I can without a doubt say that Oak Alley is the absolute BEST!

**Comment from Oak Alley, Inc.:**

> Thank you so much for the kind words Elle! We enjoyed working with you, and look forward to working on your next phase!

**★★★★★ — Kristi Austin, June 2019**

> Oak Alley, Inc. did a complete update to a large storage home on our property with insulation, sealing windows, adding insulation, power and a heating and air unit (and helped clean it out on top of it all), built a new beautiful mailbox and updated and repaired a few things within the residence (new bathroom towel bars, re-caulking shower and tub, etc.). Amazing attention to detail and incredibly responsive. They far exceeded expectations and have already spoken of additional projects and updates with them. These guys are full service -- from creating the design to following through in making it exactly as it was planned. Everyone at this company cares and work hard to make one's renovations go smoothly. I would highly recommend Oak Alley, Inc.

> Thank you for the great review Kristi! It has been a true pleasure working with you.

- [Mountain Brook Historic Detached Office](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/mountain-brook-historic-detached-office-pj-vj~6137383)
  - Location: Birmingham, AL
  - Photos: 15
  - Description: Retirement, and the need for a dedicated home office, prompted this Mountain Brook couple to engage in a remodel of their detached apartment-garage. This was the couple’s second remodel with Oak Alley. Inside, the work focused on transforming and updating the old storage area into a practical office space for the homeowner and separate laundry area for the upstairs tenant. Rot was discovered and removed. New stud walls were constructed. The room was insulated with foam, and ductwork was connecte…
- [Logan Martin Lakehouse](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/logan-martin-lakehouse-pj-vj~5643655)
  - Location: Cropwell, AL
  - Photos: 17
  - Description: These homeowners went from vacationing in their lakehouse to living in it full time. While the location was perfect for year-round living, the lack of space proved challenging. The homeowners recognized an overall expansion of the home was the answer. They wanted to expand the size of the living room and include windows showcasing the lake view. They also wanted a dedicated master suite with a master bath with walk-in shower and separate tub built over a two-car basement garage. In the process,…
- [Vestavia Sunroom Addition](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/vestavia-sunroom-addition-pj-vj~5643508)
  - Location: Vestavia Hills, AL
  - Photos: 7
  - Description: While the home had the traditional cottage look the homeowner's desired, multiple front doors made it appear more like a duplex than a single home. By remodeling, they hoped to remove the duplex appearance and increase curb appeal without radically altering the appearance of their home. Rotating the secondary door 90° so it no longer faced the street was part of the answer to enhancing the look. In doing this, a front hallway off the kitchen could be extended, changing both the interior space an…
- [Trussville Garage Gallery](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/trussville-garage-gallery-pj-vj~5643431)
  - Location: Trussville, AL
  - Photos: 7
  - Description: As avid automotive enthusiasts, these homeowners were committed to growing their car collection. Unfortunately, they eventually outgrew their space. After years of storing cars and parts in the basement, there was nowhere else to go. They knew what was needed. The only question was where and how to build so it met the homeowner’s association guidelines and city zoning ordinances. A two-story, four car garage off the right rear corner of the existing house was planned. The second story of the gar…

  - Location: Mountain Brook, AL
  - Photos: 22
  - Description: These homeowners moved into a less than perfect house in the perfect location. The house was dated and in poor condition, needing a lot of work. After debating tearing it down and starting new on the property, they instead ended up falling in love with the house and chose to renovate. Facing a lack of curb appeal, poor drainage, water damage, old windows, an outdated kitchen, inadequate bathrooms, and an overall lack of usable space, the homeowners recognized the need for an organized plan. Addi…
