> Don and Laurie were wonderful to work with! After meeting with several contractors prior to starting our kitchen remodel we felt confidant that Don understood our vision. Laurie did a great job of keeping us on budget and helped us to make decisions when we were overwhelmed with choices (so many tile options!!) Like any remodel project there were some bumps along the way but Don and Laurie handled every situation respectfully and professionally. We’ll definitely use Revive Remodeling for our future projects as well! - Crystal and Andy Jones

**Comment from Revive Remodeling LLC:**

> We appreciate your delightful and kind input. The vision was great, the result was spectacular. And working with wonderful homeowners like you makes our job that much more rewarding. Looking forward to those future projects.

**★★ — Cassy Panter, Aug. 2021**

> We contracted with Revive for our home addition and found the entire process to be very difficult with quite a few major problems along the way.
>
> Example \#1: The concrete foundation was poured an entire foot short from the original plans and they did not bother to mention this to us. We had to point this out to them.
>
> Example \#2: The floor in our new construction addition is more than 1 inch out of level.
>
> We will be remodeling the main portion of our home this year and needless to say did not contract with Revive. We have found a new contractor and have had a significantly better experience so far.

**Comment from Revive Remodeling LLC:**

> We apologize that your experience was difficult. We find it interesting that this review was done nine months after our part of the project was completed.
> In regards to the foundation the concrete was not accidentally poured a foot short. We have documentation about the complications from the existing deck location and other existing house components for the forms. This issue was resolved by the structural engineer with a cantilever fix in which your husband was aware of and agreed to. Remodeling is not always an exact science, things come up and we work on a solution. Since the finish work (flooring) was done by you (homeowners), we can’t comment on what the leveling issue is. Again, we sincerely apologize for any disappointment with Revive in this build, and we do wish you the very best in your main house remodeling.

> Revive Remodeling did a wonderful job on our complete kitchen makeover. Impressive enough that we added two bathrooms and a pantry to the overall project. We are delighted with all the improvements and recommend Revive Remodeling for anyone seeking significant changes to kitchen and bathroom spaces.

**Comment from Revive Remodeling LLC:**

> Your kitchen is stunning. We appreciate your trust in us to deliver your vision and to do the additional work. Thanks again, and we truly enjoyed working with you both. Cheers!

**★★★★★ — Carol Foster, May 2021**

> Don and Laurie were great to work with. We added on to our family room , put in hardwood floors (ripped out the carpet) and redid the counter tops in the kitchen. I would recommend Revive to anyone. Laurie was always on top of everything.

**Comment from Revive Remodeling LLC:**

> Thanks for the compliments. What a great transformation with the addition for more entertainment space, lots of windows, and the kitchen looks lighter with new Quartz countertops and honeycomb backsplash, very sophisticated.

**★★★★★ — Linda Van Houtte, March 2021**

> I moved from Hawaii to Oregon in August of 2020. I put an offer on a home in September but I needed to know if I could put in a wet bar and washroom before closing escrow.
> I called on 5 companies with good reviews I saw online. Only one returned my call and that was Laurie at Revive Remodeling. Don came out and looked at the dwelling and gave us the go ahead. We started the work shortly after we closed.
> I found Revive to be very professional, considerate and right on target with all the supplies and materials we needed to complete the project. All the Subs that came were friendly and helpful. They did a great job.
> I am extremely happy with the outcome of this project. It went very smoothly. I am very thankful for Laurie, Don, Sean and all the crew and subs. I can definitely recommend this company.
> Bless all of you

**Comment from Revive Remodeling LLC:**

> Thank you for the kind review and we are so thrilled you choose us and are finally settled into your new renovated spaces. Helping guide clients in what is possible and staying within the budget perimeters on materials are some of the few key elements in creating a true success.

**★★★★★ — Tyree Pullen, July 2020**

> Don and Laurie of Revive were our choice for building a bedroom/bathroom addition to our 1930s farmhouse. We liked their experience in older home renovations and examples of their work.
> The staff was fantastic. The crew on our job was same small group throughout the project and they were pleasant to have around. Professional, thoughtful and skilled, they made quick progress. Laurie was helpful guiding and encouraging us as we settled on our various options.
> Revive is a class act among their peers and we are entirely satisfied with our experience with them. We easily recommend their services and would call on them again.

**Comment from Revive Remodeling LLC:**

> Thank you for such kind words about your experience with Revive Remodeling, it was a privilege to work with you in bringing this vision to fruition. And It was really exciting to see this much needed space and the transformation it made not only to the house but your lives.

**★★★★★ — Katya Bulaevskaya, July 2020**

> Revive is a company of high professional level, honesty, and with great respect for customers. Every detail of our complex renovation was discussed. Don and Laurie paid close attention to all our concerns and guided me through a difficult process. Everybody was kind and caring. We are happy with our new space!

**Comment from Revive Remodeling LLC:**

> Thank you so much for your complimentary comments, it was simply our pleasure working with you and transforming your projects into reality. Remodeling isn't easy, but we strive to give our clients all the information they need in order to make the right decisions for themselves and to make the process as painless as possible.

**★★★★★ — Scott Wendell, March 2020**

> Life is busy and having a beautiful functional kitchen makes things easier! Revive Remodeling took our old drab kitchen to light and bright and designed to be more efficient. Our kitchen is beyond what we dreamed with Don and Laurie’s guidance and help. Don’s level of detail and standards for their work are exceptional. There can be unforeseen challenges when renovating an older home to new codes. You will want Don’s knowledge and experience when this happens. We made a couple changes mid project. Laurie was quick to respond with estimates and ideas to keep costs minimal. Overall we had a great experience during our kitchen remodel. That was no surprise to us because Revive renovated our master bathroom three years ago. We are not sure what our next home improvement project will be but we do know that Revive Remodeling will be a part of it. Thank you Don, Laurie and crew!

**★★★★★ — Shelly Walker, Jan. 2020**

> We love the work Revive did in our home. While this was referred to as a kitchen remodel, they also refinished the original hardwood floors in our older home, laced in new hardwood flooring in the kitchen and matched them beautifully. A powder room just off the kitchen was renovated as well as the laundry room, which is also located just off our kitchen. In addition, old baseboard and window trim was removed in our entire downstairs and replaced with beautiful white trim and molding that helped update our space as well.
>
> I would recommend Revive because when difficulties emerged (as they will when you renovate!), they found creative solutions to the issues.
>
> Don Isaacson, who along with his wife Laurie, is one of the owners of Revive, came up with a sensible and appropriate kitchen design plan for our particular space.
>
> They have awesome folks working for them. We really enjoyed interacting with their employees while they were in our home. The subs they contracted with from flooring to painting to electrical, were professional, efficient and careful.
>
> All in all, this was a good experience. We learned a lot from this process. And we ended up with a beautiful space we are proud of.

**★★★★★ — Joan Stearns, Aug. 2019**

> After searching for a design/build remodeler to redo our 60’s ranch house, we settled on Revive Remodeling. Don and Laurie were super easy to work with! We were told by all companies during the bidding process that we might need to deal with asbestos, which could potentially add thousands of dollars to the cost of our project. Don was the only contractor to offer to arrange for asbestos testing ahead of time so we would know what to expect. This turned out to be a major factor in choosing Revive Remodeling. We also loved the design Don came up with for opening up our tiny, dark house and transforming it into a bright and inviting home.
>
> Revive’s crew was outstanding. They were respectful, showed up on time, and cleaned up before leaving. Everyone was super flexible, which we appreciated since we changed plans and added several things to our project along the way. When problems developed, we knew they would get fixed before final project completion. We lived in the house during construction, so it was important that we felt comfortable with both Revive employees and subcontractors.
>
> We experienced “remodeling fatigue” toward the end of the remodeling process. Those last weeks of construction felt like years! Laurie, especially, kept us going with her kindness and humor. Looking back, the project took longer than anticipated, but we are extremely pleased with the result. Revive didn’t give us the cheapest bid for our remodel, but hiring a company we could trust was equally as important to us as cost. We would hire Revive Remodeling again for future projects!

**★★★★★ — Victoria Hamilton, Nov. 2018**

> My husband and I bought a one level home in Wilsonville in April, 2018 to be near our family. It was built in 1995 and needed a make-over. We immediately contacted Don and Laurie Isaacson of Revive Remodeling to help us with our very large project and felt so comfortable with them, that we did not contact any other contractors.
>
> The planning process took about 4-5 weeks and we were able to see our designs on the computer and make changes as needed. Once that part was completed, the demo started by removing some walls, changing electrical and plumbing and choosing tile, flooring and everything else needed for a total remodel.
>
> The entire project took almost 6 months, and we are now in our lovely home. Don and Laurie took great care in making sure things were done to our satisfaction. Nothing is ever perfect with a remodel because of crooked walls and other issues, but we feel so very fortunate to have worked with professional, thorough and caring contractors, who have turned out to be good friends through the process.
>
> I highly recommend talking with Don and Laurie!

**★★★★★ — Aaron & Shirley Woods, Nov. 2018**

> Revive Remodeling did an outstanding job on remodeling our master bath. From the initial contact when Don came to our house to understand what we wanted in a bath remodel, they took our ideas and design concepts and made them a reality. Laurie kept us appraised of when a specific contract was coming so we always knew what to expect.
>
> I highly recommend them for any remodeling job. I've seen their work on other projects and the work quality is consistent, no matter the type of remodel.
>
> Total costs were in line with what we expected as well. We are very happy with the finished product. We now have a showcase, highly functional, and fun bathroom.

 - Location: Tigard, OR

 - Description: This original 1944 Farmhouse, nestled on a property of ½ acre surrounded by mature trees, was a saltbox in shape. The homeowners dreamed of enhancing it with a wraparound porch to give it the needed farmhouse look it deserved. In the process, Revive Remodeling designed the wrap around porch with a new family room addition on the right side of the home to mimic the laundry room on the left side for symmetry. A hip roof line was cantilevered over the waterfall entrance steps for an open look. A me…

 - Location: Portland, OR
 - Photos: 7
 - Description: Stuck in the 70’s, this kitchen was cavernous and had seen its best days decades ago. The homeowner’s wanted a space that was not only light and airy, but functional with entertainment aspects. A kitchen that reflected their style: warm and casual with a flare of sophistication. The low ceiling was removed for additional height and architecture cohesiveness along with a new skylight/shaft that adds plenty of natural light. The existing surrounding walls were removed to open the area for a new la…

 - Description: A transformation can literally elevate a space to that get that open jaw “awe” reaction with some clever and unique design choices. This 2015 kitchen was builder cookie cutter grade with dark cabinets, dark flooring that was definitely showing wear. But the homeowners wanted something new that would set their space apart from others in the neighborhood.

 - Location: Not specified
 - Photos: 7
 - Description: For phase two, our clients wanted a new kitchen. Kind of a no brainer with the original kitchen not functioning for their lifestyle and an island that wins the “most ugly” award with its odd shape. The layout of your kitchen is probably the most important factor. For this design really nothing was left out for function with some luxury features sprinkled in too.

 - Photos: 5
 - Description: Typical in the 2000s half walls were used in lieu of railings on staircases. This practice eliminates the need for precision, after all who can see the imperfections with carpet? The homeowner’s desire was to open up the space, an upgrade to a grander entrance and be rid of the carpet on the stairs. Who likes to vacuum stairs anyway?

 - Description: the 1998 master suite bathroom desperately needed an update. The homeowner’s motivation was to get it done for the anticipated wedding at the property in which the bride and her bridesmaids would be getting ready in here. It certainly would be nicer for those memorable wedding pictures if the bathroom looked as elegant as the bride.

 - Photos: 9
 - Description: This characterless kitchen in a 1962 house nestled in the heart of Sherwood was transformed with functionality and an enlivening color renewal. The homeowner’s priority was storage and prep space for some serious cooking (they grow fresh vegetables and herbs on the property). One side of the kitchen was a blank slate just housing an antique buffet. Revive designed this wall space to house the new refrigerator, microwave and wall oven to maximize the whole kitchen’s space. Removing the soffit on…

 - Description: It’s hard to pick out the most stunning element of this kitchen remodel, there are so many. The 1990’s kitchen was great in size but dated with its Maple cabinets and understated island. The homeowners’ main goals were storage, ample cooking space, conveniences, and floating shelves to display and store items. After a few rounds of design, and yes, more than a few last minute changes, the final result is a warmhearted experience in the heart of this home.

 - Description: Outfitted with lackluster builder-grade home oak cabinets, soffits, tiled countertops, this 1993 kitchen lacked a logical flow, causing traffic to stop. She wanted a new kitchen, her husband wanted her to be happy, and so it began. By removing the shared wall between the kitchen and the formal dining room allowed for doubling the size of the kitchen.

They built a custom mantel piece that came out exactly like the picture we showed them. We were away when they did the work and they did a great job keeping us informed and sending us photos. We would highly recommend them and will be using them again in January 2023 to do the rest of the house.

**Q: What type of wood are these cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love the wood grain, what type of wood are these cabinets?

A: Hi, these cabinets are Cherrywood cabinets with a natural clear coat.

**Q: Great mirrors** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me where to get them?

A: Revive Remodeling did not purchase the mirrors, the homeowner did and we went back to ask her. She thinks it was wayfair.com. Sorry we coudn't be more definitive for you.

**Q: Please share type and colors of granite & backsplash.** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Carrara Marble counter tops and "ice white" subway tile for the backsplash

**Q: Wonder how is shower venting/drying achieved?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Shower door is lower than glass panels to let out steam and exhaust fans ventilate moisture from shower.

**Q: Is the niche in exterior wall? No winter there?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Yes, on exterior wall. It's a WEDI System niche and there is insulation behind it in the wall.

**Q: Paint color** *(in Photo Questions)*

I'm looking for paint color ideas that go with this color of cabinet. This is the first one I like. Is there another you would suggest? Thanks Cyn
