> Luis Ortiz came into our home (job-site), inheriting incomplete, slip-shod and disappointing work which was the result of an abandoned contract.  The previous contractor, MICHAEL WEEMS, walked out on his contract leaving us with more construction than when he started. You need this information to 'frame' the remodel situation that Mr. Ortiz agreed to repair and complete to our satisfaction.

> One example, because of carelessness while replacing second storey exterior siding, holes were left in the first storey masonry which caused leakage and subsequent dry-rot and water damage in a 'newly-remodeled' bathroom.  Mr. Ortiz discovered this dry-rot and its cause.  By necessity, he repaired the masonry leak, demolished the work done less than a year prior, and rebuilt the entire bathroom to our COMPLETE SATISFACTION.

The back of the house was rotting so bad that the window frame caved in when I pressed on it with my index finger. 1stcallremodeling removed everything that had rotted and replaced the wood, painted the house and added flood lights. The house had a major facelift. I've received so many compliments from our neighbors telling us that our house looks so much better.

**Q: Help need ideas for kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Our kitchen is very outdated and needs some updating. Any ideas or photos would be great!

A: here some of mi ideas. for open space remove the cabinets and fur down add some pendant lights. paint cabinets light color , new hardware, granite counter-top to mach to a new back-splash, paint walls, paint windows trim. replace cabinet crow-molding for a bigger one

A: Colors are iron mountain for body & pale avocado for shutters both by Ben moore. Trim is gypsum by Pittsburgh paints.
