A: Do you have the vendor name of those beautiful bar stools? **Q: I like the pendant lights. What colors did you use?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Thanks for the compliment! We painted the vertical cement board and batten and the horizontal lap siding to match the existing home's white color. We typically select Dunn Edwards paints for all our projects. **Q: dimensions** *(in Photo Questions)* Would you please tell me the dimensions of the island. A: What was the finish treatment on the concrete floor. Beautiful. **Q: Best white all over paint color?** *(in Design Dilemma)* My husband and I have bought a house but have never been inside it! (We went off photos from family who viewed it for us). I want to have all the interior walls done in white before we move in and was wondering what was the best all over white paint? I'm considering Benjamin Moore cloud white. A: Hello ritaemilia, I wouldn't label Dove White as negatively infamous. It's a great white. I do suggest you try a sample on a 24"x24" piece of drywall and leave it in your home for a week. Home Depot sells the 24"x24" drywall pre-cut to make the task easier. Best to you. **Q: Paint, stain, or both?** *(in Design Dilemma)* Moving into an old farmhouse soon and have the opportunity to paint and/or stain all of the doors and trim in the house. Originally, we were leaning towards painting the trim white and staining the doors dark (walnut or espresso), since the white trim made picking paint colors easier. Now I am second-guessing myself and have reconsidered just staining everything or staining doors, windows and surrounding trim but painting the horizontal trim (baseboards) white. Very conflicted! Opinions greatly appreciated! A: Its always a shame to hide the natural wood grain so I would advise against re-coating with paint. From the images, it appears the home has a conflicting design vocabulary so I recommend staining the window trim, door trim and baseboards to match the color/texture of the flooring.
