**★★★★★ — Carolyn, Oct. 2021**

> Young and Borlik was recommended to me by my realtor as one of the best and most experienced architectural firms in the area. After evaluating several other architects, I went with Young and Borlik as I felt their extensive experience and knowledge of local laws (they change often!), as well as their beautiful portfolio, and excellent professional references would make up for my total lack of experience in the home design process. Working with Young and Borlik was creative, collaborative, educational, efficient, and most of all, exciting and fun. They are well connected with high quality sub-contractors and general contractors that are required during the design and build process and help engage them when needed to move your project along smoothly. Most importantly, they were patient, and really listened to what I wanted in my home design, and the final design was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. If you are looking for a truly high quality, exceptional architectural team to work with, Young and Borlik will exceed your needs.

**★★★★★ — HU-445462198, Sept. 2021**

> The are a great team, super easy to work and collaborate with. We have now done two challenging projects with them and in both cases they came up with creative solutions that exceeded our initial vision. I would highly recommend them!

**★★★★★ — Sarah Beattie, Sept. 2021**

> Young & Borlik have a great architect named Christina Stidham. she is full of enthusiam and goes out of her way for her clients. She knows the ins and outs of the City systems which makes hings move more smoothly . I have used her on two different large house projects and one small and both contractors ive used loved and raved about her and her great designs She created .
> She is very timely when responding to e mails and very good with communications thru out your projects. i loved working with her and would use her for my next project..

**★★★★★ — ldbeattie, Sept. 2021**

> Young and Borlike designed and improved both my house and my daughter's. They did a stunning job on both and their plans were so complete and easy to follow that the contractor raved about them. Y&B know all the codes and work with the City to get the permits so there are no problems.

**★★★★★ — David Hodson, July 2018**

> We have worked with Steve Borlik twice!
> First time was major remodel, second time was adding a partial second story onto the house.
>
> Steve was an amazing resource who was willing to listen to what we wanted to achieve and help figure out a way to make it happen. He understands the various Palo Alto building requirements very well and we successfully finished both projects and are quite happy with the results.
>
> I highly recommend Steve!

**★★★★★ — Korts & Knight, Feb. 2015**

> Andrew Young has done two projects where Korts & Knight has been responsible for the interiors and custom cabinetry for the project. Andrew does a great job of dealing with the clients and their needs. He is thoughtful, mindful of the budget, and cooperative with not only his clients but other professionals called in to work on the project. The project in Menlo Park turned out beautifully. The second project, while 85% designed, had a twist because the clients moved back to their home country before the project could be brought out of the ground. We were all disappointed, but the house that we were all going to be a part of was going to be wonderful. I highly recommend Young and Borlik Architects. Susan Knight from Korts & Knight.

**★★★★★ — Carroll Custom Homes Inc., May 2013**

> As a Bay Area Building Contractor, I have the highest recommendations for Young & Borlik Architects, Inc. In my ten plus years working with Young & Borlik, the principals and staff are true professionals and what may be difficult for some firms, Young & Borlik have an unique ability to create an organized team effort for all members of the project. Furthermore, it is quite apparent that Young & Borlik give the same consideration to no matter what size the project.

**★★★★★ — Chelsea Court Designs, May 2013**

> Andrew Young and Steve Borlik are one of our most highly recommended architects in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are currently working on several high end residential projects and have completed some of our best works together as a design team. Their passion for understanding the dreams and desires of each client shows in every project we have had the great fortune to work with them and with their team. Their attention to structural details, classic to modern understanding of architectural design, to interior architecture as requested by the client; they are the greatest at accommodating the clients lifestyle. This is all apparent throughout every drawing we have the pleasure to work with Young and Borlik Architects, Inc. I would highly recommend Andrew Young and Steve Borlik; they not only will deliver a fantastic product, they will work seamlessly with the their clients, the construction firm and design team. They are the best!
> Marie Christine Peterson. Chelsea Court Designs

**★★★★★ — Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co., March 2013**

> Steve Borlik of Young and Borlik Architects understands families and lifestyles. While you'll find many styles of design in the portfolio, there is one central theme, the best interests and desires of the client. We're also big fans of Cal Poly grads, as their credo is to learn by doing which ensures a buildable plan.
