I did pay for 2 cm and they put 3cm in? Fine by me. And they set the sink as an undermount, not a top mount, which apparently cost $250 (until I got the bill and even a top mount is an extra $100) But they charged me for 36.5 sq ft and I could only come up with 29.4 and that was rounding up for the 45 degree corners (that’s totally fair that’s got to all be waste). Communication on this job sucked. I asked for a Quote and about a month later I water given an invoice for $3000 over what I had budgeted based on a verbal estimate. Gary immediately fixed it to exactly what I assumed it would be (i just threw out the $2000 number and just happened to be what they charged my card as a deposit). The installer said they brought a bar top which I asked for a quote for, along with the backsplash and never did get, but I assumed it was $50 a sq ft which is what I was told verbally so I skipped it and made both out of wood. I don’t know if the extra 7 sq ft I was charged was for the bar top? Or bask splash? I asked Gary the owner about it and the gal, Rhonda who answers the phone and emails and neither ever did reply. Some pretty fishy stuff. Plenty of other countertop companies out there that do what they say and the what the job actually measures **★★ — HU-862928282, March 2021** > For $13,000 worth of quartz for a small house, I would have expected a top notch job. This company is far from being a top level granite/quartz company. Too many problems to even go into detail, from major installation problems, uneven cuts, lack of communication, and a so-called finished project that is not worth what we paid. Take your money and go somewhere else. **★ — User, Oct. 2018** > Salesman helpful. Workmanship poor. Clamps left marks on granite countertops. They removed one section and put gouge in good section with their saw. Saw cut edge rugged so there wouldn’t have been tight fit so told them to stop until gentleman we told would be their showed up. They ended buffing out marks. People never on time nor called to say they were running hours behind. Caulking on bathroom backsplash looks like a kid did it with gaps. Found two razor blades in my lawn that they where using trying to remove part of the countertop. Kept wanting us to pay when job wasn’t done. Would not recommend this company. **★ — heidiraec12, May 2018** > I would never reccomend anyobe ever going to this company. The owner is absolutely horrible and very childish. We were shown a product and ended up getting something we had no idea. The owner would not replace it. In fact when I would call to talk to him about the problem he would hang up on me and told me to never call again or he round get a no contact order. This has been a complete nightmare. We ended up having to get all new counters and eat the $5800. We should have taken this horrible man to court. **Comment from Granite gallery:** > Heidi e-mailed us a drawing asking for a quote using a honed Misterio Quartz from Pental. She came in and got a sample to take home and later signed our contract which clearly indicated her choice. We fabricated and installed her countertops to her specs. Shortly after installation she decided she wanted a polished Misterio Quartz instead citing maint. issues. All honed quartz requires a bit more maint., but cleans easely. Heidi refused to make her final payment. After complaints to us and Pental about the product she chose she advised us she would only pay a small portion of her remaining bill. After making numerous phone calls disrupting our business she was advised we were filing a claim with the local court for a no contact order as well as a claim against her for the balance. She called the next day and payed the bill in full. > All of our customers are important to us. This is why we offer free design assistance. Our experience from start to finish was terrific and hassle free. There is so much to see and touch in their showroom. Sales people assist when asked, they don't hover. Once we selected our granite slab, David walked us through all of the options. How the process works, prices, schedules, etc. working with us to ensure that we were comfortable. Prices did not change and schedules were met. Templates were prepared with lasers and installation was clean and professional. The project included a new sink which was delivered directly to Granite Gallery, fitted and then installed along with the counter top. Very happy with the whole experience and I would recommend Granite Gallery.
