A: This looks great for a wooded area but the lawn landings will be difficult to maintain, and my guess is that they will eventually become some type of gravel. **Q: Nandina - no berries** *(in Mid-Atlantic Gardening)* Nearly 8 years ago I divided some nandina that were doing fantastic and transplanted them to my parent's house. In all these years, although they are healthy and thriving, the nandinas have not set berries. They bloom beautifully and heavily, but then the flowers fall off! Any ideas? A: As a landscape designer, I prefer Nandina without berries.
