The tree in this photo is a Chilean Mesquite. It is one of the few thornless varieties of mesquite. Fast grower. We used a paver just like the patio and set it as the wall facing as well. It is varied on its depth to give the wall some dimension and shadowing. As for the pool, it is about 28' long (not including the spa). About 14' wide at its widest and about 11' at the narrow middle. Let us know if you have any additional questions. We designed and installed all of the courtyard features, but did not do the painting on the home structure. I wish we could give you more info on that. It is a beautiful and rich color. This material is a Sunset travertine paver. It is quarried in Mexico and has very bold markings. It is a bit hotter than other lighter colored travertines, but still cooler than concrete products.
