We only installed the siding and windows, we were not involved in the painting. **Q: What size is the siding?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The lap siding 8 1/4 inches but it only looks like 7 inches when its on the wall because each piece get overlapped by 1 1/4 inches. **Q: could you tell me the color of this siding?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: I'm sorry but the homeowner painted his house on his own and i am not aware what color the paint is. **Q: T1-11 siding** *(in Photo Questions)* Details please. And how does this compare with hardy plank, board and batten siding. A: This picture is actually Hardie lap siding and Hardie shingle siding above the bellyband. T1-11 siding is the product that we removed and it is vertical plywood siding that has vertical grooves. Hardie board n batten siding is a fiber cement product instead of wood where the board goes on and the trim goes on over the top. I've added a photo below that shows an unpainted hardie board n batten wall. If stain was used, what kind? Thanks A: No stain was used on the hardiplank. The siding comes primed and once installed it gets painted whatever color you would like.
