Poor responsiveness from the owners, unfinished work, and underlying quality issues is how I would describe our experience. It took countless contact attempts over the course of a year before we would get a response, and even more time to get them to address an issue. Our issues are still unresolved and they choose to ignore, so I'm writing this review to let others know what they can expect after your project is finished and you have any warranty work. Save yourself the hassle and pick a different builder. **★★ — NSP Minneapolis, Sept. 2019** > Unfortunately we had a challenging experience with Landmark. Our project went a full eight months over the projected finish date, and was riddled with errors. A major source of delay was a big mistake by the siding/roofing subcontractor, a company that is owned by Mark, one of Landmark's owners. The project team was so overworked that they simply did not have the resources to oversee subcontractors and ensure accuracy and quality. They did fix all the mistakes and our project manager was wonderful and did the best he could but honestly it felt like things went off the rails for them. Our designer, Allison, abruptly disappeared midway through the project and we never heard from her again, despite having worked with her for over a year. We made multiple attempts to contact Dan and he never - not once - communicated with us after Allison left or made any outreach for the remainder of the job. We really hope Landmark is able to improve its systems and communications so that future clients have a better experience. **★★★★★ — Emily Martinson, March 2019** > We are currently in the middle of my first ever remodeling project. We have decided to stay in our house long term and wanted to open up the main level. Taking down a wall, adding steel beams, windows, doors, updating to achieve my dream. My husband and I could not be happier with Landmark. We are working with Allison Landers , head of the Remodeling Division and her project manager Brent Barstad. Both complement each other as they guide you through the project offering advice and options to make it OUR project while explaining their suggestions backed by the experiences they bring to us. They are respectful of our budget, property and time. I trust them as they continue to maintain their integrity throughout the project. When I walked in the other day and saw the new windows and door to open up the front area I saw my vision/dream coming together !! Their project sites are impeccable and the "Can-Do" attitude is a welcome breath of fresh air on my jobs. We have a 1930s Tudor in a Historic District and had to have a certificate of appropriateness to add a covered front porch. The process was seamless. We also added a mudroom at the rear of the house, converted an existing mudroom into a wet bar and roofed an upstairs balcony, added skylights, heated floor mat, new tile, retractable screens and the finished product is amazing and well used.
