This time it seemed that they did more than just slap some seal on the problem. The guy that came out this time was friendly and really gave some time and effort into addressing the problem. I added a couple of stars for rectifying the situation. > > > Ezra and Charles are very friendly and personable. That is, when they want to take your money. What good is a 12-year warranty if you start ignoring your customers at 2 years. I needed my HVAC replaced. Because the HVAC sits on my roof, I decided to redo the roof too. Ezra and Charles came out and were really friendly so I immediately had a good impression of them. Even though it would've been cheaper to go with a roofer and a separate HVAC company, I decided to go with Landmark Construction Crew, aka Landmark Energy Upgrades. I figured it would be a more seamless process for one company to do both. I got this done in December of 2016. The thing with a roof is that you don't know if it's a good job or not until it rains so I waited to write a review. Around January 2018 ( a little over a year later ) we got some much needed rain but unfortunately, I had a leak coming from one of my vents. I emailed Ezra and he sent out a roofer. The roofer came, looked at the vent, jumped up on the roof for ten minutes and said he was done. Months later, it rained again, it leaked again, I emailed Ezra again. I decided to take a closer look at the vent and noticed that there was sunlight in the duct work. I figured, sunlight equals gap somewhere. When the roofer came, I told him and he said it's nothing, probably just a reflection, without even taking a look. Then the roofer tells me that the next time there is a leak, I need to call the HVAC guy because it's not a roof problem. I couldn't believe it so I told him that HIS company IS the HVAC guy!! I used one company to do the roof and the HVAC so there is NOBODY else to blame. So, he jumps back on the roof and was done and gone in 10 minutes. About few months go by and the rain is back and so is my leak. It's now 2019 so it rained a lot this year. Good for California, bad for me. So, I emailed Ezra again. After a few weeks, no reply. So, I email him again with pictures, a few more weeks go by and no reply. So, I call him and he picked up the phone. He sounded surprised to hear from me (probably didn't recognize my phone number) and I start telling him about the leak. He said he didn't get my emails but just text him my address and he'll send somebody. A couple of weeks goes by and nothing. So, I text him again and after weeks and weeks of waiting, no reply. I've emailed, called, and texted so, at this point, it's very obvious he's avoiding me. If you are looking for a friendly company that is willing to take your hard-earned cash then Landmark is for you. But if you're looking for a company that is accountable for their work then look elsewhere. We contacted several companies in order to check and see what we want to do and to quote us with a fair price for the work. We had some ideas on what and how to design the spaces. When Ezra arrived to our house, he started throwing ideas and made some sketches. We really loved right away his concepts. His idea was to open the kitchen and merge it to the living room. In addition to that, he designed a den with metal and colored glass doors with a large outdoor deck at the back yard with French doors that opened from the living room. The whole project took about 2.5 months from start to finish and we didn’t passed the original budget. Thank you Ezra for building our truly dream house for us! We contacted Landmark Construction Crew to take over this remodeling project and to bring my house to a modern house condition and now that our house is finished (after 3 months of daily work by several teams of workers) we are extremely pleased with everything they did. They were polite, confident, and quick to respond. Ezra was able to get for us excellent options for the bathroom and kitchen hardware that needed in order to complete this beautiful work. One important thing of this remodeling was that they were able to work around my crazy schedule which made it very easy for me while they were punctual and kept the place clean. Now that my remodeling is completes, I can write here that it was a great experience and I will use them again while recommend them to others. When it comes to price, the final cost of the work was not cheap but completely worth it. The work that done by Landmark Construction Crew was a complete remodeling of my guest bathroom and master bathroom, a complete kitchen remodeling and paint the entire house. Charlie was particular when preparing, finishing and organizing the whole remodeling stages of the work. When it came to the finishing work, Charlie checked again the whole work to make sure that they are no issues or problems with anything that was involved and we were never felt that the craftsmanship was less than perfect. The new tile work is also beautiful and all the decorations and features were placed in the perfect spot. Charlie made sure that the trash and dust were contained to the bathroom and that the crew will clean each day before they left. From a client point of view, we really liked Ezra and Charlie. They were kind and Charlie was easy person to have in our home each day.
