> We engaged Ted Baran of Baran Construction LLC to handle the entire renovation project of our condo at Lindell Terrace in the Central West End of St. Louis.  Ted had worked in a number of other units in our building and was given high marks for his workmanship.  It was important to us to have a contractor that was familiar with working in a high-rise and particularly the Lindell Terrace building.  We wanted someone that was familiar with the issues that are specific to such kind of construction and that could complete the project working through the complexities involved.

> Ted worked closely with us and our architect to translate our vision and the drawings to a finished product that will last.  Ted oversaw all the sub-contractors and, together with his associate, Dave Emberson, did all the demolition, construction, painting and tile work.
> Ted and Dave did an excellent job with our unit and we are very pleased to have such a wonderful place to call home.  While it took longer than anticipated and there were some hiccups along the way, in the end the project is a success and the overall quality of workmanship is what we expected.

> It is also important to note that we continued to live in the condo while the work was being done and it is difficult to have people working in your home every week day for many months.    The fact that we are still talking with Ted at the end of the job and consider him a friend speaks volumes as to how we feel about the work provided and his personality.  We would certainly use him again if we have another project, and we are happy to recommend him to those needing the same kind of construction solution.  We are truly happy with and enjoying our new space on Lindell Terrace.
