**Q: Family room with black and cream sofa what looks good?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I got new to me black and cream tweed sofa and love seat for a small family room. I have dark wood floors. The fireplace is natural stone, maybe limestone? I need to paint the room and buy new rug, pillows etc? I don't want it to be cave like and the sofa look dark, dark grey. Any advice is appreciated.
