Mike claimed I have a several year warrantee but has not honored it. I have been waiting months for Mike or his contracted workers to come and make repairs with no result. I would not recommend based on failure to fix issues. I have now had to hire other contractor to make repairs. Very disappointed. **Comment from Main Street Home Improvement:** > Mr. Brown. We completed your service and we apologized for the delay. We regret that you failed to mention the nature of your service and the scope of work we completed as well as the pricing during Covid. I will defend our company and our men. You required more poly sand in the joints of your flagstone work. That’s all. No emergency and your review is unjust. I will post pictures. Remember you didn’t mention anything about the free work you received because you didn’t want to pay more when your old wall capsizing while we rebuilt the stone retaining walls. Two 3o foot walls 18 inches tall with dry stacked stone and flagstone along the walls. All for less than oh it’s rude to mention. Remember? Hardly a serious service but we finally made it over and power washed your work for free and added the sand joints that probably held up fine. **★★★★★ — Mitch Friedfeld, May 2020** > I hired Main Street to refinish a brick patio and planters. I needed an estimate on relaying some walkway pavers and fixing a leaking roof on my portico over my front door. Even though his business is about 40 minutes from my house, he came out that afternoon to give me an estimate, which was $5000 below anything else I got, using existing materials ( no one else was willing to do). He saved us a ton of money and did a great job. So we asked him to also help us with our next project: building a patio in our backyard. Mike is a contractor who is very thorough and examines every angle with multiple options and relies on a crew of experts to help think through any difficulties. Getting the patio to go from the backdoor to the deck landing steps while keeping the pitch at an angle to drain rainwater was a challenge but his crew did a fantastic job. They also came up with a mini rock wall (see picture) to hold back some river stones they laid that were a few inches higher than the landing. And, instead of paying to dump some dirt when they had to move it to make the patio level, they creatively moved it to a lower place in the yard where the land was dipping and then sodded it at no extra cost. Mike has proven to be a very trustworthy, responsive contractor who stands behind his work with a 10 year warranty. He will be doing our next project: remodeling a basement bathroom later this spring. **★★★★★ — HU-891622820, April 2020** > Mike has done various jobs for us. He built 2 stone walls along the rear of our property with drainage and it is beautiful. He totally gutted our basement and created a man cave, full bath, & wet bar. It is beautiful and I enjoy it everyday. He was really helpful with design and was willing to make changes DURING the project. He also replaced our gutters and front door.
