> Lee Davis of Plantscape Design did an excellent job of working with us to transform our front yard landscaping from an old, simple lawn to a beautiful landscaped garden that includes a new walkway to the home entrance, two dry river beds, border walls, retaining walls, a decorative fence with gates, and a walkway to the backyard. Lee developed the garden’s masterplan, in which he was even able to retain and incorporate some of the existing mature, established plants; he then recommended and lined up the contractors. In his design, Lee offered creative solutions for plant selection that accommodated several desired parameters, including “deer resistance,” low water consumption, and seasonal blooming. Lee delivered the plant material and guided the implementation of the whole project, during which he worked closely with the subcontractors to ensure a timely completion of our new landscaping. We could not be happier with the outcome, and we highly recommend Plantscape Design. As an added bonus, Lee connected us with a dedicated and knowledgeable maintenance professional who is taking care of the landscaping now so that we can enjoy our beautiful new garden on an ongoing basis.

The design included replacing the front walkway and steps, using 18" x 24" paver walkway. We replaced the tired lawn with hemlock bark mulch, adding native shrubs, ground cover and grasses. The client was pleased and many compliments from the neighbors.
