We are a full service architectural practice with residential, commercial, academic and research laboratory experience throughout New England and other regions. For our residential work, we specialize in designing small to medium sized sustainable new homes & renovations and work closely with our clients to fulfill their design goals on a budget. Our practice was established in December of 2000. Principals and licensed architects Jennifer Tate, AIA, and Walker Burns, AIA, have worked in the architectural profession for more than 30 years. Jennifer Tate has a background in the fine arts, as a printmaker, and Walker Burns is an avid reader and book, music and vintage electronics collector. **Q: what kind of wood is the door?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hello.  That door is different from the one that we originally specified.  The homeowners made a substitution during construction.  Therefore I am not certain of the species.

I have a creamy yellow house—cape cod.  Now need a new roof and having trouble deciding.  What is the roof color of this house

A: Hello.  For that project, the homeowners selected the color of the roofing, and I do not have that specific information.  To my eye, it appears to be a "weathered wood blend".

**Q: What is the White Trim Color** *(in Photo Questions)*

What brand and paint color were used for the white trim?

A: The trim paint color is Benjamin Moore White.

**Q: Fantastic ceiling fan** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where did you get the downrod?  Is it specific to the fan or is it universal?

A: That fan was purchased by our clients after construction, so I do not have the answer to your question.  I think they made a great selection for the space, glad you like it.

A: It's nice to hear that you like the design. I believe the color is Benjamin Moore, Sleigh Bells, \#1480.

How can I replicate it?  What size and profile do I require?

A: The window casing is simple 1 x 4 flat stock, the mullion width is sized to fit.
