His crew removed an outdated family room and replaced it with a large family room, mudroom and 3-piece bathroom on the first floor as well as a second floor master bedroom suite and laundry room. The project called for installing 3 full bathrooms. A couple with no children living at home, we remained in the house for the 7-8 month renovation. While we don't miss the early morning arrivals, we enjoyed getting to know the various framers, electricians, plumbers, painters, tilers, especially appreciating the quality of the carpentry. From the very first day of taping off doors and pass-thrus in prep for the noise and dust, it was Steve Green who talked about the communication between us that would keep things on track. Steve is organized, attentive to our questions and occasional frustration, respected by his workers, and basically friendly which is no small asset with a project this size. We are a year into this clean, quiet, private, truly glorious space and sometimes we even miss the people who made it that way! **★★★★★ — G A, Jan. 2019** > Multi room renovation including kitchen, floor removal (tile), new hardwood flooring, French doors and walls to dining room, five custom bookcases and fireplace renovation. This all required coordination with the decorator. Despite job complexity, workmanship was uniformly superior. Steve and his crew did a tremendous job with the basement remodel. The entire basement was repainted including the window and baseboard trim. Green Trade built a fitness room and framed a room for sump pump area. They gave us enough room in the basement to easily put a pool table and bar tables and chairs with fantastic lighting and new textured ceilings. The kitchen backsplash has transformed the entire room and the painting in the master bedroom and bathroom was tremendous. The before and after pictures tell the story, it was a job well done. The subcontractors were all very knowledgeable and took pride in the work they were doing, which I appreciated very much. Keeping with the historical period was important to us as was using state of the art water saving technology. Steve Green, the owner, recommended removal of all of the knob and tube electrical replacing it with 21st century technology. He also thought it best to remove all the plaster and lathe instead of trying to repair it and replaced it with drywall etc. It was because of a leak we discovered in the walls that we decided to proceed with the rennovation, it was not totally done just for aesthetics, but they were an important aspect of the job. > We had the project done when we were out of town on vacation with no worries or issues of trust.
