Who makes the hood vent? Is it custom?

The hood is custom with a Ventahood liner.

A: Hi
It was custom designed and fabricated for the house. The tube steel were 1/2" in diameter and mounted in an irregular pattern while still abiding code requirements for spacing. The patina was applied in the fabrication shop.
