I paid in full for cabinets that I later found were never ordered. I am now forced to pursue legal action. It is both a sad and frustrating situation as the project we were working on was going well. He produces solid designs and this is my second time working with him. I had to cancel my project. **★ — Jennifer McKenna, June 2022** > I hate having to write this review. I've been working with Chris on our kitchen/dining room remodel and at this stage, I can't recommend him to others. I absolutely love the design he created for us and early on he was fantastic. Present, attentive, and collaborative on our design, but there are issues now and I can't get him to respond any longer. He also is a rep for Bridgewood and we went with him for our new cabinets. $32,000 in cabinets later and we have quality issues. We're missing trim, cabinet doors came broken and split, expensive inserts came crooked and we can't get Chris to return calls, emails or texts to address. They did come with a warranty, but unfortunately, that only works if Chris will respond to us. I haven't heard from Chris since May 5 when he told us everything should be delivered within 30 days, but now we're not getting any responses from him. Bridgewood can only tell us we need to work with Chris. At this stage I have a $100,000 remodel that's incomplete with no date to address because of our cabinet issues and no one will contact us back. Sadly, I'm now having to resort to reviews which I hope will get his attention and will also be calling lawyers this week. All I can say is, approach cautiously if you intend to use him for more than design ideas. **★★★★★ — Pool House, May 2022** > Very thorough design. Unfortunately he has gone totally MIA. He was super involved in the beginning of the process but now won't respond to emails, texts or phone calls. We did receive our cabinet order which is apparently better than others who have worked with him. But pre-paid for a butcher block counter top that Chris never ordered and we have not gotten a refund as requested. There are also some finishing pieces that are missing that he should have ordered for us from the start, so now we have to wait weeks for those to come in. He also did not provide the necessary drawings and details for install, so our carpenter had to basically guess his way through install. Incredibly frustrating experience and just so disappointing. > > we still haven't received. He hasn't refunded our money for this partiuc(which is apparently better than some other people I could never have anticipated the level of detail, care and thought Chris and Arcadian Creative Company would put into our project. It’s been above and beyond and then above and beyond again. The renderings Chris produces are both stunning and have become imperative to my decision making process. Being able to see your room come to life is invaluable when making such important design decisions. Chris is collaborative, an excellent communicator and genuinely invested in seeing your vision and design aesthetic come to life. It is at one of these that I ran into Christopher Topp and was impressed with his projects (both finished and on-going). Our personalities meshed so well that I then contracted with eco urban to provide a fresh mid-century take on my Harvey Park home built in 1955. I was apprehensive to remove the original kitchen but from the first visit, Chris's enthusiasm for the space's potential was apparent. I pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier with the results. Solid quartz countertops with chrome flecks, period correct appliances, and a shag runner. Bringing my concerns into a new light of gratefulness for convincing me to push forward with the design. Need I say more? I couldn't be happier with a kitchen that reflects contemporary functionalism and period correct aesthetic appeal. iPhone pictures are an insult to its appeal--I'll post professional pictures soon! I specified them as a component of the overall kitchen design and supplied them via my cabinet vendor. What kind of wood did you use to fabricate? thanks! A: Hi. Thanks for your inquiry. I do know that the short side was 24" (the width of the stone wall). I don't remember the length of the long side but was derived using some geometry (the orange walls meet at 90 degrees). Anyway it is made from solid bamboo countertop material.
