**★ — Unhappy Client, March 2023**

> We previously worked with Peter Swindley and he was wonderful, practical and cost conscious.  Unfortunately he passed away, and the firm now is very different.  For our current project (what we thought was a small project), the costs have gotten completely out of control with a complicated architectural design. If your project has unlimited funds, these architects will do a good job with a good design.  However, if you care about costs, then you need to find a cost conscious practical architectural team elsewhere.

Unfortunately, in the last few years costs have skyrocketed in all areas of our business – construction, materials, employee cost of living – and we have had to adjust our estimates and billing accordingly. We strive to adapt our work to the client’s needs and goals, but some projects are more intensive than they seem at first glance and we try to communicate to our clients clearly when we foresee this. I hope you feel comfortable discussing this with us further so that we can scale back the cost to what you are more comfortable with!
