We were so pleased with the first one, we engage Studio 4C with no hesitation for the second one. Both projects involved complete renovation. The first project also included a separate smaller structure (guest house/office/studio). It was important to keep the design aesthetic, mid-century modern, in the remodel and addition. Perfect execution! The second project was a remodel of a 70's era condo in a mid-rise, and although we did not reposition any major walls, Leigh, principal of Studio 4C, was able to create more usable spaces by adjusting some of the walls for additional storage. > > In both projects, Leigh's architectural credentials were apparent as space usage, relationships of spaces, and engineering concerns were addressed. Her design experience was particularly helpful in the mid-century modern project. This was a custom blend - but basically it's white on white with a hint of green. Walls are done with an eggshell finish and cabinetry is a satin lacquer finish.
