Having never met face to face, we worked with Scott long distance from Florida-- via zoom, phone calls, texts, and emails-- to design our new home in Charlottesville, VA. We tasked Scott to design a sunlight-filled, compact home that would enable us to age in place, with contemporary, minimalist styling, and six garage stalls. Scott was creative and able to think outside the box. He designed a functional and beautiful home that fulfilled all our asks, and met the restrictions of our HOA and the hilly topography of our lot. During our countless back and forth while refining the design, Scott remained candid, professional, and kind. He even places electrical plans, shelving, tile, cabinets, etc... The first plan he drafted we changed multiple times often going back to the original plan he provided. He was never bothered by the multiple texts I would send him asking to change the smallest of things. I would never want to go through what I went through, but this guy made it possible. I tracked Scott down and asked him to blend a 1920 farmhouse with new modern addition. He did a fantastic job, incorporating views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from all the rooms and meeting our son’s unique special needs.
