A.F. Mattioni & Sons Plumbing & Heating was founded on the Mattioni family farm along the (back then) very rural Route 113 outside of Downingtown, PA in 1948. The original barn which housed the company still stands! A newer, larger building on the family’s property is the current home for the Mattioni brothers’ version of their father’s service-oriented business, but their commitment to quality has not changed.

> Mattioni Plumber & Heating was dispatched to my home 6/22/23 to repair 2 leaking faucets. I’m transparent when leaving reviews—good and bad. As a matter of fact, I wrote a lengthy raving positive review about Mattioni 2 years ago—again, I’m transparent. Since when does it cost almost $600 to repair 2 faucets? No they didn’t replace the faucets, they replaced the cartridges in the faucets.  Keep in mind the cartridges cost approximately $35 to replace. Factor in the dispatch fee ($75) so you mean to tell me that remaining $525 is what it cost to make the repair? I could have purchased 2 brand new faucets for less than what they charged me. I realize repair costs have increased, but this is TOTALLY unacceptable! Shame on you for over charging me! Price gouging at its best

> Mattioni did not come out per the scheduled appointment time. We had no air conditioning and my wife had to call several times. When they first came out to diagnose the problem they try to sell you services you do not need. It is frustrating that they quote my wife a price twice as much but when I get on the phone and question them they cut the price in half. Service and communication is poor but what they always seem to do when they walk in your home is stick an I pad in your face to get paid prior to doing any work. That part they get right.

**Q: Tub** *(in Photo Questions)*

How is a free standing tub installed in a bedroom?  And is it usual to install in a carpeted bedroom?  Or better regular flooring.

Typically a tub is installed in a bathroom on top of a tile floor. That way, if water is splashed onto the floor, it is easy to clean up and will not ruin it. If you would like to discuss the process further, please feeling free to give us a call at 610-269-0884.

Thank you for your inquiry. The light is a Craftmade Lighting Fixture from the Heritage Collection. It has a custom made extension so it clears the medicine cabinet. Please let me know if you have anymore questions.

A: This bathtub is a Kohler Hourglass Alcove Tub model \# K-1219R.  Thanks for your inquiry.

A: There is approximately 32 inches between the vanity and the shower doors.  I hope that helps.
