> Samuel was very thorough when he came to our house to see what needed to be done. He asked questions and made some suggestions about things I had not thought of. One of the crew came to measure and I was relieved when, a couple of weeks later, he called to say he wanted to double check those measurements! Better to get it right the first time! The job on our kitchen cabinets was completed in 4 days. The cabinet fronts and sides look better than we had imagined, as well as the kitchen island. The crew was easy to have in the house - no problems at all, and they did a very good job of cleaning up each afternoon. I would call them again if I needed some work done!

> Our 1986 vintage kitchen wall cabinet finally fell apart and needed to be replaced. We contacted nearly every cabinet company in Central Ohio but found that no one could match the style / finish of our old cabinet. We then thought, why not "repair" our cabinet versus buying a new one? I then discovered Troyer Transformations. Samuel Troyer came to our house and inspected our damaged cabinet. Samuel confirmed that they could fix it and provided me a very reasonable price quote. One week later, Samuel's brother, Jerry, arrived to re-install the cabinet. Jerry showed us everything he did to re-build and re-enforce the cabinet before he re-hung it and re-installed the doors. He completed the job in less than an hour! The cabinet is absolutely beautiful! We are so grateful to have met Samuel and Jerry! They are both proud to be carrying on the Troyer Transformations business traditions of Outstanding Customer Service and Master Carpentry Skills. "True Professionals" in their field. We highly recommend Troyer Transformations.

> After several quotes, we decided to go with Samuel. Upon his first visit, he brought many samples and explained in detail what was expected. His quote broke down each specific item, which other companies failed to do. The quote was right on what our budget allowed. We did add a couple of features such as building out the cabinet which resides over the refrigerator so it is actually useful. We had a pantry and Samuel created a built in feature to match the existing cabinetry. Ed and Jerry did amazing work, on time and cleaned at the end of each day. They are true professionals. Highly recommended for outstanding craftsmanship.

**Comment from Troyer Transformations:**

> Thanks for sharing the kind words and the photos! It was a pleasure to work for you.

> We used Troyer Transformations to reface our kitchen cabinets, which turned out beautiful. They did an amazing job. Samuel's ideas for improving the layout of our cabinets have helped me to get organized and improve my storage needs. They were always on time and made sure to minimize dust at all times. We highly recommend them.

**Comment from Troyer Transformations:**

> Samuel was great to work with, they did a beautiful job refinishing existing cabinet. Included new drawers/doors/handles and reconfiguring the center section from open space to additional storage space. They were on time, kept space clean and completed project as promised.

**Comment from Troyer Transformations:**

> Thanks for your comments. It was a pleasure transforming your master vanity for you! Merry Christmas!

> Troyer Transformations completed a sizable kitchen renovation for us. Everyone on the team was very attentive to detail and craftmanship, which is which is clearly evidenced by the results. We have lived in our Dublin home since the mid-80's and the kitchen was ripe for updating. The kitchen work area had a dropped plexiglass ceiling covering flourescent lighting. They removed soffits, including one over our breakfast bar, and installed a new ceiling. They also installed a large one-bowl sink with new plumbing, new down-draft cooktop, coordinated our beautiful Quartz countertop installation and a installed a new Anderson awning window over the sink. Everything was beautifully trimmed, including deep crown with dental molding. The old custom oak cabinets had a large wooden hood over a Jenn-Air cooktop. Troyer Transformations designed a new one that complimented the cherry cabinets and the style of the kitchen perfectly. Our new cabinets feature pull out shelves, dividers for cutting boards/baking sheets, trash and recycling center, pull out spice drawer units and pot & pan drawers.

> While we had looked at several remodeling options our decision to go with Troyer Transformations was the right thing to do. The cabinetry and workmanship is truly "fine furniture" quality. Our family, friends and neighbors are as impressed with our new kitchen as we!

> We found Troyer Transformations on the houzz website last fall. After discussing our kitchen project with three different companies, we decided to use Troyer Transformations. What started with a kitchen update turned into updates in our family room, basement, dining room and master bath over the next 6 months. This speaks to the excellent working relationship we established with Hosea and Samuel. They listened to our visions and turned them into beautiful finished projects. Their attention to detail and fine quality craftsmanship was everything we had hoped for and more. We have worked with a number of different contractors over the years and Troyer Transformations was by far the best and we highly recommend them.

> The craftsmanship that the Troyer Transformation team applied to our kitchen renovation is very high quality. The professionalism of the work crew made the job flow seemlessly. Our new kitchen is AMAZING and the entire family is enjoying it. Mr Troyer's expertise and guidance made a huge difference in our final product. Thank you!

> Troyer Transformations built new doors and drawers for my existing cabinetry in our bathroom. The final outcome is beautiful, and cost a fraction of buying new custom cabinetry. The variety of cabinetry styles was infinate. Once we chose our style, they gave us two options for our project which also helped us save on cost. We had a small project, and so it took them a little longer, as they fit us in, in between other projects. However, the doors actually came right when we needed them to not delay our project. Samuel is a very kind, trustworthy and intelligent young man, and did a wonderful job for us!

> We recently had our kitchen and bathroom transformed by Hosea and his sons. Their knowledge and expertise in remodeling cabinets is outstanding. They worked very efficiently and effectively with us, meeting all expectations as outlined in advance of the project. Upon completion areas were cleaned and restored. We couldn't believe the tremendous difference their excellent work made. It is without reservation that we recommend Troyer Transformation.

**★★★★★ — Kayanne Sharp, Sept. 2013**

> My husband and I met Troyer Transformations at the Spring Home & Garden Show. After interviewing several cabinet refacing and custom made cabinet companies, we hired Troyer Transformations to remodel our kitchen. Without a doubt, we made the best decisions possible. While we loved our granite countertops in our kitchen, we disliked our builder grade & dated cabinets. In order to preserve our granite, Troyer Transformations’ owner, Hosea, recommended refacing the lower cabinets and replacing the upper cabinets. Hosea took the time to fully understand our vision all while staying within budget and delivering the highest quality possible. The communication was seamless, because the point of contact through project fruition was with Hosea. The owner himself provides the quote, performs the work, and processes payment. Hosea is very professional and is a true craftsman. We appreciated the patience, attention to detail, and time management Hosea provided. The quality & value is unmatched. Refacing is a great option to save the budget, but still deliver a very high-end look and feel. Troyer Transformation is also a great choice if you are looking to replace your cabinets with custom, high-end cabinets. Troyer Transformations is a clear front runner in Central Ohio. Highly recommended!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Which to do first?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are refacing existing kitchen cabinets and also plan to replace tile counter tops with granite (and add tile back splash). When I asked the cabinet refacing company, they said have counter tops installed first (something about having to cover gaps if needed). When I google, it seems everyone else recommends counters first, then the countertop. Any advice?

A: It can be done either way. We do countertops and cabinet refacing and I do whatever works best with the schedule. If schedule is not an issue I would follow Pamela DeCuirs suggestion. Hope this helps
