I decided on a somewhat unconventional wall unit with no shelves, since I already had three book cases in the bedroom and I no longer buy books (I use a Kindle and the library). We asked that all of them be fully accessible in case an air conditioner needed to be serviced, so he gave us a removable front that blends in seamlessly. We also wanted to use our existing baseboard moulding so he incorporated that into the design.
