Thanks for sharing. **Q: Mildew smell in the foyer** *(in Design Dilemma)* I am a snowbird in Florida. I turn the water off when I leave. A few days after I return and start using water I have a mildew smell in my lower level foyer. Since its not there until I turn on the water I assume it may be a slow leak in the pipes which are in the ceiling of the foyer. The previous owners updated the bathroom and maybe installed poor pipes. I dont find a yellow or black area on the walls. Last year I cut into the garage wall where the water softener is and found no mold. Help. A: Getting rid of mildew is difficult but eliminating the smell is even more difficult.
