MAC-BO - WHY THE FUNNY NAME?
Mac-Bo Homes & Remodels of Portland, Oregon was formed by Ed Hesse in October 2004. Originally licensed as MacArthur Booth Constructors, our vendors and subcontractors quickly began calling us Mac-Bo and it stuck. So we are now licensed as Mac-Bo, LLC. Mac-Bo has evolved into an experienced, award-winning general contracting firm. We continue to grow with the industry and are on the forefront of innovation in home remodeling and renovation design and building practices, remodeling homes throughout the Portland-Vancouver metro area and beyond.

> Mac-Bo did a full remodel of a mid-century modern house I had bought.  It included utilities, insulation, windows, incorporating a patio into an existing room, a bathroom, three bedrooms, a family room, etc.  The work involved fabrication and installation of structural members, interior and exterior work.  The kitchen and dining areas were the only areas not touched by the work along with the garage. The work started with demo and ended with paint and fine finishes.  The team was professional, thorough, meticulous, and clean.  The communication between all the parties was excellent.  They were a pleasure to work with even through the few rough patches in any major project. The work they produced was superb.  I have no regrets, no bad memories and nothing but admiration and gratitude for this team.

A: Accent tiles: 
Pratt & Larson: W84 WATERCOLORS
Named so because of its deep, fluid clarity. On relief tile watercolor glazes flow and pool in the firing to create incomparable depth and beauty. A hand painted Waterway application on any of our relief tile adds even more. Watercolors have a crackled surface and come standard on rustic field tile.  Watercolor glazes are recommended for light residential use only, not recommended for floors and counters.

**Q: Who makes the backsplash tile?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The grout color is wheat.
