Project was completed in January 2014 due to design flaws from the kitchen designer (kitchen island had to have changes and new cabinet took weeks to re-order). Consynigy was recommended by the kitchen designer. Quote came in reasonable. following are comments for job: > Prep/Demo - good > Floor - not good, non-sanded grout used on 20X20 tile, grout had spots where mastic was not removed and showed up in grout lines. Grout was not uniform color. A Dupont stone sealer (not intended for use on grout) was used on the grout lines to darken them and not properly buffed after application resulting in hours of polishing on my part. Some tiles were not completely flush > Cabinets - install went okay > Light fixtures - good > Clean up - a large amount of cabinet packaging, materials and debris were left in my garage after the trash trailer was taken away. After paying a dumster fee to Consynigy we weren't thrilled with making two trips to the dump to clean up. > > Overall okay except floor which is a big disappointment **Comment from Troy Chagnon:** > We strive to make each project deliver on all levels of execution. There are often things out side of our control that we have to work around/adjust for. This project had many obstacles that we did our very best to mitigate and overcome. They provided us with an accurate estimate and included materials that would be needed. As do-it-yourselfers, we did what we could and the team did the rest. The team was easy to work with and gave us advice along the way when we needed it. Several walls, including a load bearing wall, were taken out in order to create one large space. The space encompasses a living room, dining area, and a kitchen. Snags arose due to the house's age and how it was built. We were kept informed about them and problems were quickly resolved. They performed all of the work above in approximately 4 days, and continued to stay in touch as I worked on installing the kitchen cabinets myself. After they completed the initial work, Troy was always willing to answer my questions when I ran into problems that I couldn't figure out. Also, when I found out that my wife may give birth ahead of schedule, he sent his crew to help me finish up the kitchen so I was sure to have a working kitchen when the baby arrived. It comes through with a nice warm feel. Another interesting fact is that this house is all individual hardie shakes not the panels.
