The project was well over a six-figure job for them. Overall, we were very happy with the quality of the work and the support we received from a number of their employees. However, recently during a discussion with a representative for a HVAC company who was evaluating our A/C unit in our attic, he pointed out that a very large beam had come loose, fallen and thankfully lodged between two other beams. We have no idea how long that beam had been detached, as it was not evident to us (we are not familiar enough with home framing support). Thankfully, it lodged safely and did not come through our roof and severely damage our home or injure a member of our family. > > We contacted Noble, not because we thought the support beam was their fault, but because we knew they had framing experts that might be able to help us re-attach the support. However, the framing company that they referred, who happens to be one of their most experienced contract crews came to our home and spent several hours fixing the problem. While onsite, they told us that it was clear that the issue was that the beam was not re-attached correctly, by what was clearly an inexperienced framing crew when the remodel effort took place years ago. > > Long story short, we reached out to Noble once again to advise them of this issue and ask them to stand behind their substandard work. It was recommended that we contact Mr. Michaels (the owner or principal), who would surely make it right and at least share in the cost to have the work corrected. He refused to answer our e-mails at first, but after several phone attempts, finally did respond with a number of excuses of why they could not stand behind their work (didn’t know who had been in the attic, work was done too long ago, etc.). > > It is clear that Noble Classic Homes is not the same quality homebuilder that they once were. If you are looking for a remodel contractor or homebuilder, we would recommend finding one that takes accountability for and stands behind their work. **★ — HU-372387868, June 2023** > Unprofessional, deceitful and lied about fixing the problems in our house. John Michaels, the owner, refused to speak with us directly prior to closing about issues, yet the project manager and Director of Office Operations (the billing and collection person) put in writing that all our issues would be resolved to our satisfaction. We were told to put the issues on the punch list and all would be resolved.
