> Dissapointing is a summary of our experience. We contracted with Lanson's team to create a conceptual design, and specified in our signed and agreed upon contract that we were to receive a European garden design sketch and a design of our back fence, among other things. They provided examples of these for other houses they had done before we signed the contract. They completed 80% of the contract, but once they realized that we weren't going to contract with them to install the design, Lanson essentially told us that he had too many important clients going to installation to take the time to finish his obligations with me. Again, we have a signed contract with his obligations (and examples provided of these obligations), and he refused to complete his obligations that we prepaid for once we realized we weren't going to move on to installation. What is further dissapointing is that at our initial meeting, he specifically said that if we didn't want to move forward after receiving the initial design, that would be just fine and no hard feelings. Really dissapointing.

A: Great question! On this project Silver Mist gravel was used; the gavel pictured is size 3/8"

What's the name of the pine shaped trees on the right ?

A: Hi Alex!  These are Eagleston Hollies.  We have pruned them to "jewel shapes" at this property, but you can train them to take almost any shape.  Good luck with your project!

Looking for what is used in between the stones? I have grass between my stones now, it's not working out love this ground covering between stones:)

A: That in extra fine blackstar gravel between the stones.  The trick is that you want the gravel to rest slightly lower than the stones so that you don't kick it up when walking.  Good luck with your project!

A: These are 15-gallon, jewel shaped Eagleston Hollies.  This photo was taken right after they were planted.  Aside from the aesthetic appeal, they will add another layer of privacy as they continue to grow above the fence line.

What is the plant crawling up the wall?

A: Correct. If you live in a hardiness zone 8 or higher, creeping fig plants can be grown outside year round and can grow more than 20 feet tall. This is a popular choice in Houston as it grows quickly and clings tightly allowing it to "take the shape" of a fence, column, or home façade.
