> High Country Construction of Durango, CO applied a professional level of work to our "needs to be fixed"  requirements. The roof repair, for example, resulted in a higher quality repair than we anticipated. Another example is the repair work on the flooring. The sub-contractor not only laid down the desired flooring but also fixed an additional area creating a seamless floor. Of course a few issues arose, as is the case in all projects. Yet, each of those issues were fixed to our satisfaction. We are pleased with the professionalism of the finished work. Additionally, we have been very impressed with the curtesy and straightforward communication style Steve Minerich employs. We found Steve Minerich, his sub-contractors, and the individual workers to be of high integrity.

The finishes on our Colorado modern-rustic home surpass our expectations. The timbers and ceilings are unique and just spectacular! Building in an area distant from a large city offers challenges we weren't familiar with, and we were fortunate to work with High Country. Steve understands this market, the suppliers and trades and is highly effective at delivering a great product. He also worked well with us in integrating aspects of the job where we brought our own capabilities, designs, and resources. Finally, he was adept at handling all those things that can be surprises in building, (including our own on the spot changes!) and found a number of significant opportunities to improve our home, which is larger, has a higher level of quality finishes, and is an attractive value in a high quality home. ## Community Q&A

**Q: Help with appliance pulls** *(in Design Dilemma)*

After searching online for months, I believe I found pulls for my new kitchen that I actually love (pics below. However I need 3 appliance pulls for a 30" integrated fridge and Emtek does not make them.  The hardware is hammered copper.  If anyone has any ideas, would love to hear from you.  Thanks so much.
