The original basement had concrete floors, exposed ceilings, an exposed HVAC system and dim lighting. It now includes an area to relax and watch TV, a half-bathroom, a laundry room and storage space. Jorge guided my husband and I through the process, helping us understand what decisions we needed to make and when. His team was courteous and respectful of my home. The job involved removing old window treatments, installing new carpet, redoing a laundry room floor, replacing all kitchen appliances, replacing existing ceiling lights, installing a drop ceiling in two areas as well as installing new lighting fixtures in the new ceiling areas. Some of the ceilings had to be refinished and everything was painted. New fixtures were installed in two bathrooms, new counter tops installed in the kitchen and cabinets in the kitchen and butler's pantry cleaned and new hardware installed on the drawers and cabinets.
