> I recently built a new home with Plantation Builders in Wilmington,NC and one of the great services Plantation provides is a decorator to assist in all the decisions that go into a new home, as well as coordinate those decisions with Plantation so that nothing gets lost in the process. Leslie brought strength to both arenas. She quickly discerned my decorating sensibilities and was able to offer real insight and helpful suggestions to each decision (from paint colors to plumbing fixtures to lighting). Additionally, she was professional in posting each selection onto the Co-Construct sight where Plantation stores all communication concerning the building process. Redoing our kitchen and we are going with a type of white cabinets and I am looking at your granite/quartz countertops and wondering what they were .

A: Hi, thank you for your question. The counter tops are White Ice granite. Many stone suppliers have different names for the same type of granite so it may not be called the same thing in your area.

What are the dimensions of the island and what is the surface area made of? It is beautiful!

A: Hi, thank you for your question. The granite on the counter tops is called White Ice, but different suppliers have different names, so White Ice from your supplier may not be the same as our local supplier.  I no longer have the information on the dimensions of the island, but please contact Hollingsworth Cabinetry. They did an amazing job on the on this kitchen. http://hollingsworthcabinetry.com/ If you are in SE North Carolina, the countertops were from Apex Ceramic Tile and Marble.

A: Hi, thank you for your question. The floor tile is a vein cut Espresso Travertine. The backsplash tile is from Sonoma Tilemakers Stellar Collection, the color is Stone Blue.
