Please vote on which garage door is better! A: B: Thanks! A: When we take on exterior painting projects, we love matching the exterior color with a bright accent color for trims and garage doors. An example would be royal blue exterior paint with white accents. It will look and feel luxurious without costing a fortune. Exterior Painting Services Los Angeles **Q: Modern fireplace design for new build. Need help!** *(in Building a Home)* We are in the middle of a custom build, and while I have hundreds of modern fireplace photos saved here and elsewhere, I still cannot get a good idea on what to do with the area that will include the fireplace. As you can see from the top pic, there are two fairly large recessed areas. A cabinet maker drew this to give me a quote on some built-ins in these alcoves (hence all the broken-up spaces/measurements in the drawing). I'm not really sure I want to do built ins. I really like the look of the photo with the white cast stone but also unsure if this would be too much for the room. My husband would like to use stacked stone etc. I'm not opposed to that per se, I just don't know if that "sea of stone" will look good. Any ideas and suggestions are very appreciated. We choose Silver Shadow from Behr. Because our counter tops has blue in it our whole kitchen looks blue! I wanted it white but they had said it would look too washed out. It does look lighter. My main question is which tile to go with to make it look the best. I have 3 laid up against the dry wall in pictures. Any other ideas are welcome. A: We are very sorry your white cabinets turned out to be a little blue in there. I am surprised that your contractor did not show samples of cabinets/color before committing to it.
