> We highly recommended Jim Sierra owner of Cuss Construction, Inc. This is our 4th project with Jim and his crew. Our first project was 2015 with a bathroom remodel. 2016 back yard remodel. 2019 a laundry room closet conversion and 2023 a front yard transformation.
> Due to a very wet winter this team had a lot to deal with. Jim is so easy to work with and we always love the end results.
> With our front yard they did demo of the entire front porch, brick removal, lawn and landscape removal. They updated electrical. They stuccoed and painted the front yard and poured all concrete. Anything you need done.....they can do.
> Note: Before photo with grass. Landscaping by Alexander's Landscaping

> My husband and I have recently completed our third project with Cuss Construction, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most creative and rewarding experiences for me. The folks at Cuss are not only knowledgeable and skilled craftsmen, but are true problem solvers. On more than one occasion, in response to my slight tweaks and requests, project manager Samantha B. said “give us your dream scenario and lets try and make that happen” - and the results were amazing. Working with Samantha and her team made each phase of construction a breeze: from the early creative planning to completion they were super communicative, kept the site clean and tidy, were respectful to the neighbors and most importantly, came in right on budget.
> I highly recommend Cuss Construction for any renovation projects you are planning.

> Last year I had a few temporary walls built for an event and this year they did a small edition for me. To say it simply they hit all the marks for me, price, quality, and and speedy completion. These guys were very easy to work with and things went surprisingly smooth. These are my guys now

> We were referred to Cuss Construction by colleagues and couldn't be happier with the outcome. They are professional and reasonably priced. We have had a few projects completed in our midcentury La Crescenta home. Jim and Samantha solved our bedroom closet dilemma. Three small poorly placed closets were removed and one larger custom closet was created for more efficient use of space. A wall was removed between our dining area and kitchen to create an open floor plan that most modern families are seeking. They also replaced a fence destroyed by a storm with a "neighbor-friendly" redwood version. It is beautiful to look at from both ours and neighbor's yards. Looking forward to the completion of current projects! They created a wonderful design for our tiny laundry room that optimizes the space and fulfills our storage needs. They also created a gorgeous fireplace mantle and built-in cabinets/shelves/drawers which go with the clean lines of our midcentury home. We are also working together for an entry space to collect shoes and backpacks in a tidy way. We love that they protected our furniture and hardwood floors during the construction and cleaned after work was complete.
>
> Thanks Cuss!

> Can't say enough great things about Jim and the whole crew at Cuss Construction!
> The whole process was great from start to finish. We are planning another project for 2016 and 2017,,,,,,,Can't wait!!!!

**★★★★★ — lizfall, March 2015**

> Cuss Construction does excellent work and they have completed several projects at my home over the past few years, including a bathroom remodel, bedroom renovation and extensive exterior site work. They are prompt, hard working, respectful and simply nice people. Jim and his team are also very interested in doing quality work and will not hesitate to correct work that is not up to snuff. I plan to hire them again for my next project, a full renovation of a two bedroom, two bath condominium project.

**★★★★★ — rob58, Dec. 2014**

> We have hired Cuss Construction on multiple occasions over the past several years because of the high quality of work, complete reliability, honesty and reasonable pricing. They have remodeled our bathrooms, built closets and bookshelves and remodeled our living room and fireplace and partial remodel of our kitchen. On all of their jobs for us they were punctual, completed work in the time promised and stayed on original budget. In addition, you will not work with a friendlier and more helpful contractor. We give them the very highest marks and will use them again and again.

**★★★★★ — gotanian, Nov. 2013**

> Complete reconstruction of the front yard, turned in to a modern living space.
> Cuss Construction was ahead of scheduled, on budget, professional and went that extra mile to give us more then we asked for.

> The owner of the company has been direct, responsive, knowledgeable,
> resourceful, reliable, and flexible. He listens well and has worked with
> me in solving problems and making choices in remodeling and updating my house. I made the right choice.

**★★★★★ — bsnbeck, Nov. 2013**

> The Cuss Construction team was excellent in all ways. We hired them to remodel our kitchen. Every person, from the heads of the construction project, to the professionals used (electrician, granite guy, etc.) and to the less skilled workers assigned to tasks were personable and professional in attitude and performance. The estimate given was completely accurate. We were warned of a couple of areas which were hard to estimate, and all came in withing expectations in terms of cost and results. We were told two months, and the kitchen was finished a couple of days under that. We were offered advice when we asked, but never pushed to do something in a way we weren't comfortable with in terms of financing or style. Our priorities to save money in one place, have quality in the places that were important to us were all respected. They worked with us and gave honest feedback so that we could make good choices. Each of the workers was respectful, honest, and pleasant to have around. They showed up and worked when they said they would. They let us know when and why there might be a delay, and didn't leave us waiting for something to happen because they were juggling other jobs with too few workers. They oversaw less skilled workers. I have heard horror stories about the stress of kitchen remodels. In spite of this occurring during a difficult work period for one spouse (me) and in spite of the inconveniences of not having a kitchen, of doing dishes in a tub on another floor of a small house, it was a relatively pleasant experience. like camping in your own house for too long. We love our kitchen. It was beautifully finished to the quality for which we contracted the company. I can't recommend Cuss Construction highly enough.

**★★★★★ — Tina Jackson, Nov. 2013**

> I have worked with Jim of Cuss Construction on two large home remodeling jobs. I have loved working with him and his crew. They are all top notch craftsmen and do great custom work. Jim has had 25+ years experience in all aspects of building so that he knows firsthand how to deal with any problems that may arise in the construction process. He is easy to talk to and quick to respond to my phone calls or texts. As an interior designer my standards for finish work is high. His (...and my) favorite response to any of my design ideas is..."no problem!"
> My vision for the projects on the interior and exterior were realized and went beyond my expectations!

**★★★★★ — htiedey, Nov. 2013**

> Cuss Construction did a total house remodel of my home. The only room we did not touch was the guest bedroom. I have never done a remodel before and was a little apprehensive. They walked me through the entire process and were always on time and on budget. Jim helped me make key decisons that resulted in a beautiful space. Each worker who came into my home was courteous and respectful. I enjoying the whole process. My house has had rave reviews. If you want quality work done with integrity, Cuss Construction is the place to start.
