> Do not use this company. They scale the payments so that they do not have to fix anything. The communication was non existent. Every time we called we got a disgruntled person who said someone would call us back. No one ever did. The punch list was never communicated to anyone and never addressed. The gunnite crew left a hole the size of a manhole in the pool. The plaster crew filled it in so that we had a big discoloration in the deep end. Months later the plaster crew came back out to fix the issue. The bottom now looks like a toddler did it with crayons. There are multiple cracks in the deck and the lighting system is already having issues. They painted the deck the wrong color because of a lack of communication with the subcontractors. I happened to be home the weekday that the crew was unloading the material and starting to put our screen up. We have an unscreened pool. They were at the wrong house. They sent the guy out for pool school twice. Both times were WAY after the pool bottom had been done. That was supposed to happen within days. They won’t set the wireless up until the final payment is made. The second time the guy came out for pool school he set the wireless up. We were still trying to get the punch list addressed. He had no clue where they were in the project. The pool cost was on the higher end. We did that to avoid the kind of service, quality and expertise that we got from Atlas. With Atlas, you don’t get what you pay for.
> 5/11/24 - after posting this review Atlas contacted us. This is very rare. They said they wanted to make things right. Three months later they are claiming the problem is scaling, even though the bottom looks EXACTLY as bad as it did the day we got tired of their unprofessional conduct and gave up on them. They did this through pictures we sent that they asked for and never even sent someone out to look at the results of there lack of effort and integrity. Just like when they were building they say that is because of a lack of resources. It’s not a lack of resources. They just don’t care.

> We are at 23 months since our permit was turned in and STILL can not use our pool! Was told 4-5 months! MONTHS between each step in the process, TERRIBLE communication (even to the point where we've tried to talk to the pres of the company and were told that he doesn't take customer calls!)... And now that we finally have the pool filled with water, we have a leak(s) AND underground pipes crossed! Trying to find out when these major things will get fixed is like every issue we've had - no response or "pass the buck" or "over promise and under deliver". And now they are "holding hostage" our smart technology because they say we owe $400 for work they did NOT do! I could go on... My husband has spent literally hundreds of hours working on this pool because of the slack of this company! We just want it to be done!

> During my 57 years of life, I have had the privilege of successfully starting, managing and selling both private and public companies. In that capacity, I have interacted, and contracted, with countless entities, both large and small. However, in my opinion, nothing in the decades in the industry could have prepared me for the level of deceit, incompetence, and absolute indifference to the client's concerns as I experienced after hiring Atlas Pools to build my family a swimming pool. After paying them over $100,000.00 and incurring thousands more in legal fees to get them to comply with basic contract terms, I'm still having to bring in third parties to clean up after their mess. I struggle to convey just how much heartache (and heartburn), grief, and misery my family has suffered during the nearly two years it took them to build one residential swimming pool - we are not talking a pool for the Four Seasons or the 2024 Olympic Trials. I would absolutely not use this company again. However, if you are interested in staggering ineptitude, customer indifference, and the joy and privilege of incurring thousands of dollars in attorneys' fees just to get them to comply with their contract terms, then this is the company for you.

> Worst Experience ever. In January 2021 we signed a contract with Atlas pools to build and complete the contract by July 15th 2021 and it is now September 2022 and we have yet to finalize or receive all promised goods and punch list completion. During the past 19 months it has been a rollercoaster of zero follow up, failed promises, missed deadlines, and a threat to place a lien on the property for failure to make final payment. During this time there has been zero follow up to update the status of the people. We would have to reach out to request an update. Sometimes they would not respond so we would have to go to the sales office for response. Atlas used numerous excuses as to why they were not able to finish our pool, from industry shortages, lack of control of the contractors, and even blaming the lack of organization on their own employees. The spill over on our pool clearly had the wrong colored grout, which I told the contractor during installation (September 2021), yet he continued to finish the job because I was unable to get a hold of Atlas to stop the work. Atlas has apologized and made promises to fix the spill over numerous times, have taken templates to replace the spill over with granite, to make up for the delays and errors, but still nothing. Finally in June 2022 I was told by Atlas that if I wanted the spill over replaced with granite or marble I would now have to pay and they will only fix the grout. Finally the threats of the lien came, without notice or final pool review, and they demanded payment via email, even though they had not completed the job. The punch list was signed on 11.22.21 and we are still waiting for the final few items to be completed and we continue to have to follow up because they never return emails or calls. I have all the emails and pictures saved to show the lack of communication and professionalism Atlas has shown over the past 19 months. We offered to call it even with the repairs and we would keep the final 5% but they refused

> It’s been a long painful journey. They over promise and under deliver. Problems with communication and quality from day one. We made a huge mistake by choosing Atlas to install a pool for our family. It’s sad to see how low they have come through the years. Whatever angle you are looking to do business with any of their companies, I would look else where.

> Do NOT to use, @atlaspoolsofcentralfl
>
> Our pool was filled towards the end of August this year and the finish looked terrible as soon as it was filled with water. After brushing and treating without the stains fading, Atlas said that the pool would need to be drained and acid washed. They came sometime in the 2nd week of September to do so. Once the pool was filled for second time, it again had a lot of stains. Not imperfections or blemishes. Large stains and streaks. Atlas again said that it needed to be drained and acid washed because the first person who acid washed it didn't do a good job. So against or better judgement, we allowed them to drain and acid wash our pool again. This is the end result. I waited for a bit to contact Atlas pools because we had already been threatened by their owner several times and I just wanted to be done with them in fear of retaliation by him. After talking to a lot of people, I decided that I needed to contact Atlas because we paid a lot of money for our pool and it should not look this terrible.
>
> I contacted them today and they are stating that it is not covered by warranty because our "pool chemistry is not correct", (even though it is totally normal for a new pool and would not cause these types of stains). So their answer was to contact pinch a penny to recommend a chemical to fix it.
>
> Meanwhile, it's been like this since day one of water! Please whatever you do, stay away from Atlas Pools.
>
> Let my pictures be the proof you need that not only are they a terrible pool builder, but they don't stand behind their work and have the most awful customer service I've ever experienced.

> If there were a negative star, I’d definitely choose it—we are that disappointed in Atlas Pools of Central Florida!!! So many mistakes were made by subcontractors throughout the entire construction process, but we were always assured they’d be fixed to our satisfaction within 30 days after completion. Two plus years later, we are still waiting! We have exercised tremendous patience in hopes that Mr. Wemple was a man of integrity and would choose to do the right thing—to honor the contract we both agreed to. Short version of this long, endless nightmare is, from day one, the pool was not level and had to be cut down. Ends up it was cut too far resulting in necessary modifications to existing plumbing which eventually led to severe leakage issues. Now, the pool is literally sinking!!! We helped finance this pool for our disabled veteran daughter so she could enjoy aqua therapy in the privacy of her home, but she has yet to find joy in this pool. When will this nightmare end??!!!

> They were very helpful when I asked for a consultation and while I didn't choose to go through with getting a pool built ... they were just so amazing that I would reccomend them anyway .

> I hired Atlas for a renovation. My pool was resurfaced, tiles, and a new coping was added. All phases went smoothly and were handled extremely professionally. We love the transformation our pool has experienced. Thank you Atlas.
