However, the house was badly in need of help to become our forever home. The kitchen had a few old, battered cabinets, and the dishwasher was across the room from the sink. They were also accommodating: I wanted to do the demo, select/purchase the finishes, install some of the plumbing, etc. They were great throughout, and weren't pushy about using specific suppliers. They are also extremely communicative, which helped resolve potential issues as they came up, including floor joists that weren't level, an outdated plumbing stack that needed to be replaced, and a tub that arrived with an unsatisfactory finish.
