A: Hi! They are from Top Knobs. **Q: Hardwood floor stain--Bona** *(in Flooring)* We'll have white oak floors in the house we're renovating. Our flooring professionals plan to use Bona stain. We really like the look of a dark stain (we'll have plenty of light and high ceilings) but the Ebony is just too dark. Looking at Cocoa, Antique Brown, and Spice Brown. Any other suggestions? The flooring people suggested we avoid mixing stain xolors. A: There is absolutely nothing wrong with going dark, but I find that the darker the floors the more sin you see. Every spec of dust, lint, dirt and dander will be seen! So you are right to steer away from Ebony. Jacobean is a favorite and I have used Special Walnut numerous times, but I have also been known to mix too! Its more tricky though because you have to decide on the tested color while its wet, because when its dry the color changes. This is because it doesn't have a sealer on it to bring it back to its true hue. People have a hard time determining in the moment while numeours mixes get put down what works best for them which is why he is trying to disuade you. On another note my biggest piece of advise if to go satin, not matte on the finish! Matte shows a lot of flaws too, and tends to look dirty after awhile even when its not. **Q: love the Morris & co wallpaper!! what is the couch in the living room?** *(in Photo Questions)* The couch looks incredibly cozy in the living room, where is the couch from? Thank you! A: Thanks! It's from The Tac Room. We just had the fabric on the cushion changed out. :) **Q: what color to repaint den** *(in Photo Questions)* Purchased new rug and trying to work it with current dark brown sectional. Rug has gray and seems cool but was told it is warm. What color to paint walls. Currently gold. Mega Greige? Is that too dark with white trim? A: It all sounds very muddy together.
