He transformed our 23 year old builder grade nearly unusable kitchen into a beautiful well-planned functional work and social space. We really enjoyed working with him and absolutely love how the kitchen turned out. **★★★★★ — HU-505337810, March 2021** > Really great time working with Homestar. > > Had a natural hiccup or two during the process but they were out the very next day to resolve the > issue. > > Great design, excellent service, custom cabinetry, outstanding > installation. > > It shows that they have been in business for a long time. > Hats off **★★★★★ — HU-658129311, March 2021** > The real deal. John and crew couldn't have been nicer or done a better job. Took us out for countertop selection, went through every design, detail, and visited job site during install. Kitchen turned out amazing, cabinetry is perfect, everything flows. Great experience. Spent about $60k on the project and I couldn't be happier. **★★★★★ — HU-77633129, March 2021** > Did a great job on our kitchen from start to finish. Will recommend to > many. They transformed it from an outdated '90s bore into a beautiful workspace. I was amazed at the level of detail that went into the planning of it. John was a delight to work with and his crew did an amazing job. **Comment from Homestar Design Remodel:** > Kim, thank you for your kind words, and thank you for allowing us to bring our passion into your home! Your kitchen did undergo quite the transformation, and we are glad to have been a part of it. ## Selected projects - [South County](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/south-county-pj-vj~6821576) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 11 - [Modern European Master Bathroom](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/modern-european-master-bathroom-pj-vj~6821621) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 8 - [Grand Entryway - Front Door Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/grand-entryway-front-door-remodel-pj-vj~6821618) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 4 - [Upscale Master Bathroom](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/upscale-master-bathroom-pj-vj~6821597) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 7 - [Modern Hallway Bathroom](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/modern-hallway-bathroom-pj-vj~6821582) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 5 - [Lake Saint Louis](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lake-saint-louis-pj-vj~6821573) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 13 - [Small Hallway Bath Shower Enclosure](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/small-hallway-bath-shower-enclosure-pj-vj~6821635) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 2 - [Midscale Kitchen Ballwin](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/midscale-kitchen-ballwin-pj-vj~6821587) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 12 - [Modern European Hallway Bathroom](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/modern-european-hallway-bathroom-pj-vj~6821620) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 [See all 9 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/kitchen-and-bath-remodelers/homestar-design-remodel-pfvwus-pf~347853265) --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
