I compared his quote and proposal to others and it was similar. I needed the right price, but also the right commitment in terms of timing (when to start but also when to finish within the a reasonable expectation). He turned out to be very reliable, he started the project when he said he would, and he completed within the estimated timeframe. For me it was important. it was about 3 to 4 months long project. He also helped me to fix some some other errors previous contractors did, and he gave me helpful suggestions on the choices of material and strategy. Lastly, I noticed he checks on the work of his team, just to make sure things are done the right way; as owner of the project/company he owns his responsibilities, which is very good and made me feel confident on his work.
