> From the initial design meeting with Paul, to the final click of the gate latch closing on a SPECTACULAR backyard renovation, we have been beyond impressed. Paul listened carefully to our needs and ideas, and designed a brand new patio on a hill we thought, for 25 years, was completely useless. We would never have seen the possibilities he created - and we honestly can’t believe it’s ours. In the evening, we wander out, glass of wine in hand, to our beautifully lit patio and feel exactly like we’re on vacation in the French countryside. Project managers Tracy, Nick, and Katrina; artisans Polo and Emilio, and every single set of hands that scraped, dug, filled, built, and lit our project were simply stellar. I can’t recommend Red Leaf enough, and feel so lucky  we found them. Ten stars out of five!

> We have been very lucky to have Paul, the owner of Red Leaf Developments, and his crew landscape our backyard and later on our front property.  Not only is Paul an incredibly talented landscape designer, but his high expectations transfer to his entire crew!  Paul is always involved in every step of the design as well as the construction, which is why he has such an great reputation.  He is very professional, yet down to earth, and he expects the same out of his crew.  As French natives, it was important to us to capture a bit of "home", which is what Paul rendered. The project included stone walls, DG paths, fireplaces, stone benches, stone shed, water features, steps (DG/wood in back and cement in front), lighting, and many, many plants and trees. There was an existing vineyard and Paul worked everything around it. Next time, he will redo the pool area. Lastly, one of the reasons Paul is so good at what he does is because he actually listens to his clients, something a lot of designers (interior and exterior) are not willing to do!

So we asked a architect friend for a recommendation and he suggested we call Paul Straus at Red Leaf Development.  Paul came up with a design that was totally unique and exactly what we wanted.  And he incorporated glass tiles with natural river rock in fountains and a pool that is perfect for us as well as our grandchildren.
