> We hired them to do a complete kitchen renovation. The kitchen was gutted. From new walls to a new ceiling, new cabinets, countertops, floor, and lighting fixtures.  We were assigned a designer and two carpenters, (who are also rated electricians and plumbers). Our designer first helped us change the layout of the kitchen to be more efficient. She was wonderful, there almost everyday, always helping us make choices. Our carpenters were very professional as well. I was diagnosed with cancer two days after they started and everyday besides doing excellent work they put my stove back in place and had the kitchen as spotless as they could before they left. Their work was impecable. I was so pleased with every detail. They built me a hutch cabinet that now houses my mothers china. They kept to the budget we wanted and the grade of materials we asked for and the kitchen is beautiful, warm and our place. I would highly recommend Martinec to anyone and have several times. I also want to say they were trustworthy. As I would have to leave to go to treatment or some appointment I never had to worry about leaving them in my home. That was a great deal of stress lifted off of me at a hard time in our lives.

A: The island is a piece that already belonged to the homeowner, so we don't have that info.  Sorry!

A: The upper cabinets' finish is Heirloom Chesapeake Coffee glaze with a 15% sheen from Conestoga cabinets.  Thanks for asking!

A: The glass came from our local glass supplier.  The railing and channel that hold the glass is from Wagner Companies.  Thanks for asking!
