> Chris Eskra's impeccable, understated, classic sense of style comes through in his beautifully detailed, handsome projects. He has the ability to listen and engage with both clients and subcontractors to create highly curated, always inviting, beautiful homes. He brings a natural intelligence to everything he does, which makes him a joy to work with. I've worked with Chris as a decorative painter on a Master Bath project in Chicago, and on his amazing San Francisco Decorator Showcase room in 2017.

> Chris brought us these great clients with house situated in a scenic woodland in Northern California. Together we provide comprehensive architectural, interior and structural engineering design solutions to the project that can only be described as the ideal collaboration! Chris has keen eyes on details, attentive to client’s needs (even down to the most intimate details), and incredible resourceful to find the right balance of aesthetics and budget to the project. We look forward to our next venture together and continue to create more stunning places.

**★★★★★ — Mike Auster, July 2017**

> Creative, helpful, and mindful of budget considerations. This is our second project with Chris, and since we've used him twice, we must be very pleased. The best!

**★★★★★ — Mary Kay Huse, May 2017**

> Chris and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with in decorating a newly purchased condo in San Francisco. I appreciated his balance of pushing me towards new, different things while also appreciating and enhancing the style and look I wanted. He also managed expectations around timelines and logistics very well - when I wanted to move fast he would but was also patient with me when I was slowing things down. Chris was an excellent partner in designing my house, and no question I will continue to work with him in the future. And most importantly, I am absolutely thrilled with how my house turned out - from living/dining room to both bedrooms, guest bathroom and an office!

**★★★★★ — HU-26236, July 2016**

> Chris was able to understand my preferences and living style and make recommendations to fit this. His recommendations were always spot on and of the highest quality for the budget. The work was done professionally. Follow up has been great to ensure that everything was done properly.

**★★★★★ — Jenifer Shriver, June 2016**

> Prior to my latest home project, I had never worked with a designer before and I was struggling to complete a few tasks. Enter Chris. He has incredible taste but also has a knack for making the client happy. An excellent communicator and task master, I look forward to working with him on future projects. I never could have done it without him.

**★★★★★ — Lauren Moyer, April 2016**

> I recently worked with Chris on a home renovation and new home furnishings project. Chris is a very talented designer and was able to transform spaces in my home in ways that I never would have thought of, but ended up working beautifully for my family. Chris was very patient as we went through the selection of colors, finishes, furniture, etc. and never made me feel rushed. He was always on time and very prepared for our appointments. He works very efficiently and was always considerate of our schedule, even though I know he was managing other clients and projects simultaneously. In between appointments, Chris would send me samples and ideas even when not specifically requested - his mind was always working on ways to make improve my project! Chris is an experienced and professional designer that will not disappoint. Highly recommend him for all your interior design needs!

> We recently worked with Chris on the renovation of our vacation home in the Florida Keys and it could not have gone better. We couldn't recommend him highly enough!
>
> Chris helped us with the material selections and furniture layouts and made it so easy for us to just select from his options. We know now how important it is to hire a professional when doing a renovation project. We could not have done it without his help, and it would never look as great as it does.
>
> The fact that he is based in San Francisco was not an issue at all for us. He sent us presentations via email, and followed up with actual material samples. At various points in the project, he came to the job site to ensure that everything was being done to his specifications, and to our satisfaction. He knows what works, and what doesn’t, but never imposes his vision on us. He still allowed for us to contribute to the design so that it really feels like it is our home.
>
> It was a wonderful experience. Don't hesitate to contact him!

**★★★★★ — msmerling, Sept. 2015**

> Initially engaged to handle the addition of a new family room, study, dining and kitchen area. Chris worked with the architect and truly made everything come to life. He handled all of the finish details, a few of which were done in conjunction with the architect. Chris handled all the furniture and lighting as well as input on artwork. We did not make a move without his input. We were so happy we engaged Chris to redo our master bedroom suite area.
> We spent a lot of money building an addition both with the construction and architect. While Chris's fee is not inexpensive, his contribution to our home was the most critical component. He understood what we wanted and also helped us open our minds to how we could deal with the space. He has a particular point of view but did not force it on us and was kind when he did not agree with some of our ideas, he was always correct.
> He was also sensitive to the cost of everything and did not recommend ideas he felt would be too expensive. In fact we pushed him hard on a number of issues to not limit us to dollar driven decisions. He helped us save money by using custom mfg for a number of the furniture pieces.

> Chris ....has done multiple residents for me over several years. The best compliment ..is all my friends think I'm the most creative, up to date, artistic-yet practical person ...decorating my home(s). Fact is ...I do nothing but approve Chris' ideas and decisions. Chris does 100%, from wall coverings to furniture to art work to bed linens. He's the full "advisor". ..or if u want a targeted project guy. Also understands the word "budget"!! And Chris is also conveniently digital (if desireable) in presenting concepts, ideas, items, financial transactions , etc on line/text/email...makes it timely and easy to execute. Literally.... 6 out of 1-5!! Great counselor and implementer!!

**★★★★★ — bflanzer, Dec. 2014**

> We hired Chris primarily to help redecorate our master bedroom. The bedroom was extremely outdated with laminate furniture and vertical blinds from the early eighties. When Chris came to hour home for the initial meeting, he listened carefully to what my husband and my tastes were and what we wanted to accomplish in this room. He offered us many good suggestions. In just a few short weeks, Chris presented us with a proposal with a few different options of furniture for the bedroom, as well as a plan to expand our closets.aThis was especially helpful for me because I often get overwhelmed with too many choices. We also went to a few showrooms where he had already picked out a few options for me to look at in person. Overall, the choices we made for the bedroom were at the high end of our budget, but we are thrilled with the results!
>
> In addition to the bedroom, Chris also helped us design a new glass staircase, some lighting and carpeting throughout the house.
>
> Chris was a pleasure to work with. He is extremely organized and responsive to his clients' needs.

> Have you ever had a vision in your head and you cannot quite find the details to describe it and someone does not deliver what you were really looking for? You are not going to find that with CME Interiors. Chris sat down with me as I was handed a boxing gym that I was going to be transform into a Pilates studio and did just that. I get compliments every day on the colors and the lay out of the studio and there is one person I can thank and that is Chris Eskra with CME Interiors. He truly listens to you and takes your dreams and make them a reality. Thank you Chris!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Amazing Space. Love it all!** *(in Photo Questions)*

I was fortunate enough to see this space in person. It is truly spectacular and has remained the inspiration for my home office. Would you be willing to share to source for your lamps? Love them both!!

A: The floor lamp is by John Pomp Lighting https://www.johnpomp.com/collections/clear-band-floor-lamp

Table lamp I picked up at the Paris Flea market. One of a kind

**Q: bench seating and chairs** *(in Photo Questions)*

I am wondering where you purchased the bench and chairs. really beautiful design

A: The chairs are from Restoration hardware and the bench is from Kathy Kuo Home. Thanks.

**Q: Wondering about a chandelier** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type of chandelier would you pair with this look as opposed to the wall lighting?

A: I would most likely put an iron fixture, something dark. Try Paul Ferrante as an example. Chris

**Q: Vanity Source?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where is the vanity from?

A: Sorry but I don't know where the vanity is from. The building was done by a contractor and when the client hired me, it was already there. Chris

**Q: Backslash** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you please tell us the backslash?

A: It looks like a mosaic tile I've seen from Biazza tile

**Q: Coffee table** *(in Photo Questions)*

I've looked everywhere for the coffee table Can you source for me?

A: I've seen similar tables like this and the top tends to be a faux finish. It looks like a vintage piece to me
