> Allison created a wonderful, large custom 66” x 40” abstract art piece for our new home.  Having seen one of her designs in a publication, we reached out to her to see if we could collaborate on a piece for which we had specific ideas in mind.  She was very willing to work with us and amenable to incorporating our vision/color scheme and suggesting great ideas along the way.  Being on opposite coasts, the process could have been difficult, but Allison made it so easy.  Mainly discussing via email, mail, and phone, sharing samples and colors, she put us at ease throughout the entire process.  She truly brought our vision to fruition with her own creativity and the end result was even better than we could have ever imagined.  Her work is absolutely phenomenal and speaks for itself, but most importantly she is a true, customer service- oriented  professional whom we would wholeheartedly recommend.  Thanks, Allison!

We did not want to replace the cabinets in either home, because we liked the overall kitchen layout and did not want to incur the time and expense involved in buying new cabinets.  So we hired Allison, who very quickly (and very professionally) turned our cabinets into works of art--people who see them now are bowled over, and can't believe that they are the same cabinets.  We also hired Allison to work on our bathroom cabinets, a large built-in bookcase, and a fireplace, transforming each of these items into beautiful pieces that really "wow" people.  She is extremely pleasant, hardworking, very fastidious, and has a great eye for color and detail.  She is also not afraid to express her opinion when she thinks that you might be going astray, which is a great thing, since she prevents you from making very expensive mistakes.  We would give her 10 stars, if possible!

Hi can’t remember if I have already asked you about this door?  Ut how was it done? It’s just amazing.

A: It's hand painted! This is not a stencil. I created a design and repeated it as a mirror image. Transferred to the door and then hand painted it. Thank you for your interest in my work.

A: It was my client's home but I believe she said it was an antique. Sorry I could not be of more help!

Hey, I love this look! Did you leaf directly onto the old dark wood or did you paint it first?

A: I recommend painting a base color and/or primer of a light gray as close as you can get to the silver leaf color. I did a tinted gray primer first, then Modern Masters Silver, then the silver leaf process. Hope that helps.
