> Jeff Sellentin, the owner and architect, worked with us from the initial stages of developing what we wanted to do and how much we wanted to spend to coming up with a final plan that took both into account, and finally, construction. The goal was to add living space, an extra bedroom/office and revamp our entry.  Prior to the addition (left side of the outdoor photo), our house looked like it stopped abruptly.  With the addition it looks much better and we love the front porch.

> Our was a relatively small addition of 500sf that enabled us to create a completely open space on the main floor of our late 70s tri-level home (entry, dining, kitchen and living area).  We wanted to work with someone who was flexible enough to allow us to do some of the work ourselves in order to cut down on the cost and Jeff was very accommodating.  We hired Jeff to go from design through finished drywall and have been working on the rest ourselves (please note that the kitchen, which is not pictured, is still unfinished but that's on our to do list, not Jeff's!).  We're very pleased with the results and have had lots of compliments from friends and family about how comfortable it feels.

A: No Stain,  Just a Clear Coat.  Fir does it's magic over time.

A: Thank you,  Yes, the door is Simpson Door.  Ordered via Frank's "The Door Store" in North Seattle.  8 '-0" Tall.  enjoy!

A: Thanks for the Compliment.  The floors are actually 2.5" wide American Cherry.  Cheers!

**Q: What is the square footage of the house total? 1st floor? 2nd?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi There,
This house is 2160 sf on the main floor and 1664 on the second floor.  the garage is just shy of 880 sf.
Lives very well!

**Q: How was the door trim fabricated?  What are the specs?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I used a combination of poplar and mdf.  and fabricated it on site.  has held up very well too.  thx!

**Q: What is the stone on the post bases?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It's called Ledger Lock and is provided by Mutual Materials in the NW.  Essentially it is a concrete veneer that is formed to look like natural stone.  Installation is quite easy.  There are other stone veneer companies...like tombstone etc.  Hope that helps.  Comes in boxes with corner pieces too.
