> Hard to believe a true aesthete, problem solver, and business head all exist in the same person.
> And add to that her easy grace which has accrued legions of trade contacts up and down the design chain. Somehow Ms. Wright unscrambled my Neanderthal mumblings and created the home I've always wanted to live in. For the first time in my life I am house proud. I can't imagine working with anybody else.

**★★★★★ — HU-591669706, July 2019**

> From the first phone call with Tobi Wright I was fairly certain that she was the person to design our new apartment. When we did meet in person, I was thoroughly convinced. She listened to what I was saying about what I was looking for in a designer, she asked questions that clarified my thoughts so that she could better understand who my husband and I were and what was important to us. Since we were downsizing, we were going to have to make decisions about what we could keep and what would have to be replaced in the new space. In the end almost all the furniture had to be replaced but our most precious possessions found a new home.
> Early on in our discussions I had told Tobi about my love of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water. She remembered our conversation and used a photograph of Falling Water in winter as the inspiration for the design of our bedroom and most especially the custom design of our bed!
> We are world travelers and have collected objects and art from our travels. Tobi was able to incorporate most of these precious things in the rooms of the new space. We could not be more pleased with the results of her work. Not only is she creative, she is resourceful and wherever possible gave us choices at different price points. She is an amazing designer and a lot of fun to be around!

**★★★★★ — Jack Ribeiro, March 2019**

> I recently renovated my 2 bedroom apartment in New York. I guess I should really say that Tobi Wright recently renovated my 2 bedroom apartment. This was a complete renovation, including the kitchen and bathrooms. The apartment, in my view, is a marvel. Tobi designed every inch of the apartment including all cabinetry work, moldings and floors, audio and security, lighting and decorations. I could not have done this project without her. As I travel significantly, she was also there to watch and monitor the worked being performed. I can only say that I would highly recommend for any project. It was wonderful to deal with such a hard working professional, great artist and trustworthy person.

**★★★★★ — Gigi Cooperman, Dec. 2018**

> Tobi is a pleasure to work with. She has great design ideas and is very professional. She understood exactly what I was looking for and respected my pace. I never felt any pressure to chose something that was close to what I wanted. Tobi kept scouring her sources until she found just what I was looking for even when I didn't know it! My home is just as I hoped, beautiful and comfortable. I definitely recommend Tobi and Inside Wright.

**★★★★★ — Alice Kaplan, May 2018**

> I had an excellent experience working with Tobi Wright. She was hired to help me freshen up my apartment with some new touches--to give it a more contemporary feel. From the very beginning, she understood what we wanted and made suggestions that we liked. She was professional in every way and easy to work and communicate with. Everything went smoothly and Tobi masterminded the job in a warm and friendly manner. My husband and I are very pleased with the result and are most appreciative of the help and guidance we received from Tobi.

**★★★★★ — Harriet F Senie, March 2018**

> Tobi did a great job staging my apartment. Working with her was a pleasure as she was easy to work with sensitive to my needs. I've gotten nothing but compliments on the apartment and I'm sure it will add substantially to the selling price.

**★★★★★ — Christine Sachs, Jan. 2018**

> We hired Tobi to stage our 2BR 2BA for sale. It's a nice place...once you can get past all the clutter. Tobi helped us select the best of our items and bought some key eye catching pieces. Our place was utterly transformed. Everyone who knows our place just says, "Wow." She really brought out the beauty, charm, and room available. AND captured our personalities! We will definitely work with her again!

**★★★★★ — Isabel Kaplan, Nov. 2017**

> Tobi is great to work with. She paid close attention to our likes and dislikes and quickly picked up on our style and preferences. She generated a lot of ideas and provided samples and suggestions in a timely manner. Tobi is committed to her work and is very detail oriented, picking up and following through on small and large matters alike. She has good relationships with vendors and showrooms and will take the extra step to find answers. She helped make our new apartment really feel like a home. Our TV/tech person said our wallpaper is his favorite in all of Manhattan, and others who have come into the apartment for one reason or another have taken pictures of the color of our living room walls. Since we don't live here full-time, I feel a great sense of pleasure every time I walk in the door and see the beautiful, unique and comfortable decor.

**★★★★★ — Saheb Architecture, April 2017**

> Tobi has a great sense of style! She is able to flawlessly organize space as per the Client's need, while providing that 'j'en sais quoi' through her bubbly aesthetics. I love her use of color.
>
> She is also a very caring person, very easy to work with.

**★★★★★ — Peacock Home And Garden Designs, March 2017**

> I'm a designer and worked with Tobi, in helping her create her window display at Summit Rug, NJ. Was a joy to work with Tobi on her project. She has a great talent and vision for her designs. Her window display was spot on and unique.
>
> Tobi, has a wonderful personality and great talent. If you are looking for an interior designer to design your home and bring your dreams to life. Tobi Wright is the one to call.

**★★★★★ — Burt Visotzky, Feb. 2017**

> Tobi supervised the renovation of our kitchen from floor to ceiling. She first helped us choose a contractor (we interviewed among those she presented). She spoke with us about our tastes and preferences. Then she presented us choices for: flooring, appliances, cabinets, paint colors, counter tops, back-splash, as well as overall kitchen design. If we didn't like the choices, we spoke more and then she gave us more choices.
> Tobi supervised delivery and installation of the work. She was very patient with me (I am a pain to work for), charming with the super and the contractor's men. The job came in exactly on price and was finished a few days early!!
> Tobi cost us about ~12% of total cost. SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. I AM RECOMMENDING HER TO EVERYONE I KNOW.

**★★★★★ — A T, June 2016**

> Tobi helped me take a space that was nothing more than an odd shaped hallway, and transform it into a great working & reading room!
> Working with Tobi meant I could go at my own pace. I wanted a chance to live with each change we made for a little while before making the next move. Tobi was totally cool with this approach … not pushy at all, yet available when I was ready for the next step.
> At one point I bought a chair we both loved online, but when it arrived I found it uncomfortable. Tobi was really helpful in working with the manufacturer to have them pick up the piece and give me a full refund. I ended up buying another chair that was super comfortable but boring. Tobi found some fantastic fabric, reupholstered the chair’s cushions and made it the new highlight of the whole space!
> I highly recommend InsideWright!

  - Location: New York, NY

  - Description: Corcoran Sunshine asked us to design a model apartment for their landmark building at 720 WEA. Originally designed in 1927 by celebrated architect Emery Roth, 720 West End Avenue is re-envisioned today as 131 elegant residences by the award-winning designer Thomas Juul-Hansen. There are 3 model apartments, each designed by different designers. Corcoran came to us for our comfort with color. Having grown up, and still residing in a neighboring building that Emery Roth lived and worked in, our fou…

  - Description: Home interior design often starts with a kitchen remodel or bathroom renovation – and sometimes include both. Color is central to our practice, which can present challenges when designing different parts of a residence. To address this, we create a reflection of our client’s personal style, inspiration and needs. This work is an example of an eclectic design aligned with a biophilic principles. The result is a home style that includes layered textures and makes a statement everywhere you look. I…

  - Description: Contractors benefit from interior design as much as any homeowner does. This contractor and his wife upsized their Manhattan pied-à-terre because grandbabies were on the way!! I started with space planning. I determined how much pre-existing furniture would fit in their new apartment, and where. In the end, some furniture remained as is, while a few items were reupholstered to work with the new design aesthetic. Custom fabricated casework and new furniture were also added, to complete the aesthe…

  - Description: This client came to me requesting a concept rather than a style. After living in his home for 15 years, he wanted it to have a “beach-poolside vibe”. This made for a fun approach. Styles can have so many names and nuances that clients don’t always know exactly what style they are looking at or requesting. With a request for a concept, I just needed to determine if my approach should be literal or figurative. I came to the initial consultation with concept boards with both approaches, and it was…
- [Murray Hill • Retro](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/murray-hill-retro-pj-vj~6724261)
  - Location: New York, NY

  - Description: This exceptionally unique and fun family had grown out of their previous apartment largely due to their extensive collections—records, vintage art/icles, books, bags, and booze. The latter of which is due to the husband’s trade, he reviews liquor. Storage was imperative—a total of 6 (3 shown) custom millwork pieces were built to either hide or display their collections. And both color and black and white palettes appealed to this couple. Color adorned ceilings and floors to allow for unhindered…

  - Description: 2nd homes are so fun to work on because clients tend be more open to statement pieces. The Fusion Wow stone counter and backsplash are the first statement pieces you see in this home, but there are more as you walk through. The copper claw-foot tub and complimentary wall tiles, custom cabinets, surprise (closet) bar, and many other elements, made the apartment a joy to create.

  - Location: New York, NY

  - Description: Floor to ceiling windows and corner views certainly informed the design of this space. A favorite spot in the master suite is what my clients call their Buddha corner, a perfect spot to enjoy a book, glass of wine, or a moment of meditation. With an abundance of natural light, window treatments become a consideration. In the bedroom, all needs are met: light filtering, darkening, and the aesthetic glory of velvet. In the open space living area, light filtering is all that is needed. In the offic…

  - Description: This client had great taste, we integrated new furniture with existing decor. I'd weigh in on colors and furniture choices, and if there was something they just couldn't find, I'd find it for them. I helped rearrange the rooms to create dedicated spaces for eating, lounging, entertaining and living. Their home truly feels like home. It's warm and inviting. There was no rush, we started the process in 2016 and completed it in 2018. When the right piece of furniture materialized (or came back into…

  - Description: This client’s interior design goal was to turn her half bathroom into a bright, functional, modern guest bathroom. Replacing the shower wall with a glass panel created more space, and privacy film allowed natural light to stream through the floor-to-ceiling windows. A flat panel vanity, integrated sink, and large format subway tile contribute to this modern bathroom design. 5 years later this client was ready to renovate her ensuite bathroom and her kitchen. The navy and white theme of her bedro…

  - Description: InsideWright's most recent project was a Manhattan pied-à-terre. I love designing 2nd homes!! This was a new home that needed to accommodate some pre-existing furniture and accessories. (Pre-existing items: desk, desk chair, dining room rug, 2 dining chairs, accessories, bedset, bed linens.) The goal was create an environment that welcomed my client's "country-eclectic" tastes, but also felt "Manhattan chic". We worked together to find items that truly spoke to my clients, and fit the space just…

  - Description: A cosmetic redecoration of a split level house. Entrance, living and dining room shown. Home owner is very fond of mid century modern, but in the dining room we opted to keep some of the existing traditional architecture and embellish it with some traditional and modern accessories until a gut renovation is in the budget. MoularArts Nexus architectural tiles were used for the fireplace surround.

  - Description: Staging ... it can be tricky. Bold yet neutral. Simple sight lines. Using existing furniture. Limited budgets. Here's a staging I recently did. I had to work with the pre-existing large furniture items (couch, occasional chair, dining table/chairs, bed/headboard and night stands). This apartment is right on the Hudson, so I looked for literal and figurative sunset/seascape artwork. The rug also has a watercolor feeling to it. I wanted to accentuate the selling factor the views provided. The bath…

  - Description: Corcoran’s Gavrilov-Grosso team was moving their loyal client into her second home. They called on me for the staging. I used as much of the client’s existing furniture as I could. We had to store and discard/donate quite a few things. I called on Stashable Storage (formerly Box Butler), Office Furniture Heaven, and 1-800-GOT-JUNK?
