### Reviews

**★★★★★ — building Lab, inc., Jan. 2018**

> Jeff King & Company is a professional firm who has years of experience working with architects and designers. We collaborated on a sophisticated and complex project of inserting a modern master suite in a historic building: a ‘jewel box’ as described by our client. Jeff and his managers could see how things needed to be done and they worked with super competent subcontractors who embraced the challenges of a highly refined project. We highly recommend them

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> Thanks for the 5-star review, Stephen! It was a pleasure working with you as well, and we look forward to future collaborations!

**★★★★★ — Hanna Driscoll, Dec. 2017**

> We hired Jeff King & Co. for a complete remodel of our two-story cottage on Telegraph Hill in San Francisco. We worked with them for about 9 months. It was a design-build contract, where the first 3 months took us from a general idea what we wanted to drawings, permits, etc., followed by a fun (yes, this was actually fun) 6-month experience watching the place transformed from a 1929 cottage into a beautiful, new, luxurious transitional-modern condo of our dreams. We couldn’t have been more fortunate in getting a team of people not only excellent at what they do, but who turned out to be amazing to work with. By the time the project was done, we counted the project manager and the architect as friends. Jeff King & Co. supplied first-rate contractors who delivered high-quality final product and finishes. Our house has become the envy of friends and visitors. We love our place!

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> Hi Hanna, thank you so much for your thoughtful review our firm and the process! We had a great time collaborating with you on this fun remodel and are delighted with how our relationship evolved into a mutual friendship--a sure sign of a great remodel! We look forward to working with you on any future projects.

**★★★★★ — Cynthia Sewell, Dec. 2017**

> We recently completed an extensive renovation of a 1920’s home in Pacific Heights. We selected Jeff King & Co. as our contractor based on excellent referrals from previous clients. We have been very pleased with quality of the work, level of professionalism, and quick response to questions along the way. I would recommend Jeff King & Co without reservation. We are delighted with our new home!

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> Thank you, Cynthia, for taking the time to write this review for our firm. We're so glad you're enjoying your home and we look forward to working with you on any future collaborations.

**★★★★★ — Rick Matcovich, Oct. 2017**

> Jeff King & Co. did a fantastic job on our project - all the work was of the highest quality and completed on time and on budget. The communication from the first visit to project's end was all straightforward, efficient, and well-timed. Jeff and his staff are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience.

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

**★★★★★ — Gretchen Murdock, Oct. 2016**

> We have completed a couple of projects with Jeff King & Company and are very pleased with their work. Jeff has an art background and we immediately noticed his attention to detail which was a huge requirement for our projects. Jeff King & Company provide high quality results and work hard to make the project right for the vision of both the client and the designer. They never hesitate to think outside the box to assist with custom solutions and intricate details, providing excellent craftsmanship. His crew did a remarkable job and were a pleasure to work with. MODtage design looks forward to the opportunity of working with them again in the near future.

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> Gretchen, thank you for sharing your experience working with our team. It's always an honor to work with Modtage design!

**★★★★★ — Jeannie Fraise, Oct. 2016**

> We have been so fortunate to work with Jeff King at the very conception of a project and at the successful completion of another. His approach at both these critical phases has been consistently thoughtful, professional, and attentive to detail. His knowledge and experience give us and our clients the confidence necessary to embark on projects requiring expert management, coordination, and craftsmanship. We truly value how transparent, accessible and responsive he is in all his practices and trust Jeff and his team to take care of our most important clients at Lotus Bleu.

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> Jeannie, it's always a pleasure to collaborate with you and the team at Lotus Bleu. Thanks for reviewing us and we look forward to the next one!

**★★★★★ — Arno Harris, Sept. 2016**

> Jeff and his crew are all top notch professionals who deliver a very high quality work product. They anticipate construction issues and are very detail oriented--not the cheapest but that's not what we were looking for! We're very happy with the results and would hire Jeff King again.

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> Arno, thanks for taking the time to review us! It has been a pleasure working with you.

**★★★★★ — SAZEN DESIGN LLC, Sept. 2016**

> I have only the best things to say about working with Jeff King & Company - impeccable performance during the entire re-model process, not to mention exceptionally kind and honest people. Working as a designer with their staff for many re-models I can attest to this contractor's careful decision-making and expertise while maintaining the integrity of the design aesthetic. This makes for an incredibly streamlined process start to finish, with truly remarkable results. Highest accolades!

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> Sarah, we always enjoy working with you too. Thanks for sharing your experience!

**★★★★★ — lisahauswirth, Sept. 2016**

> We had an EXCEPTIONAL experience with Jeff and his team, with our project executed on time, on budget and pretty flawlessly (this is the first time I have been able to say this about a project). The team showed incredible vision (the design changes they recommended are the ones we love most), attention to detail, commitment to excellence and customer focus (both in terms of really understanding our needs and working hard to delight us throughout the project).

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> Lisa, we're glad you enjoyed the process as much as we did. Thanks for taking the time to write us a review!

**★★★★★ — Andrew Mann Architecture, Sept. 2016**

> We’ve completed several projects over the last years with Jeff King & Co. and each one has been well-executed and managed by Jeff and his team. Jeff is active in each project and from an early stage, he and his management team bring experience, knowledge and valuable input to the owners and design team. They are very organized and thorough. Their communication is clear and they have a keen attention to detail that is crucial for residential construction. They also are very current in building science and are on the leading edge of implementing energy saving and sustainably-minded methods into their projects. We’re very much looking forward to working with Jeff and his team again.

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> Andrew, thanks for the five star review! It's always an honor to work with you and we look forward to more collaborations soon.

**★★★★★ — Chr DAUER Architects, Jan. 2016**

> As architects, we look towards the general contractor for strong and proactive communication, organization, and craft skills. Jeff King & Co. has consistently exceeded our expectations on all fronts. The initial interview, cost estimate(s), project management and field supervision, are consistently and thoughtfully managed by a well organized team who are a pleasure to work with. We very much look forward to working with JK&Co. on future projects.

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> We look forward to working with your firm on future projects as well. Thanks for taking the time to recommend Jeff King & Company!

**★★★★★ — hamiltonsfo, Jan. 2016**

> Service after the job was done was one of the criteria we used in selecting the general contractor for the 2011 total renovation of our Victorian. Jeff King checked out very well and we selected him for the job.
>
> In the three years after moving back into our house a few problems have come up, which is to be expected in what is essentially a brand new old house. What has made all the difference has been the prompt, cheerful response from Jeff King & Co. in addressing the problems. Where the issues have been due to normal wear and tear, they helped us find a solution or did it for us at our expense. But where the problems were because they or a subcontractor had done something that wasn’t quite right, they came in and got the matter taken care of at their expense.
>
> Jeff King stands behind his work and his subcontractors do the same. For that and the quality of the work we would choose him all over again.

**Comment from Jeff King & Company:**

> We look forward to keeping your home in pristine shape for many years. Thanks for continuing to choose Jeff King & Company!
