Our house had a 1980’s kitchen that was sorely in need of updating. Our neighbors had a new kitchen installed by Bernhardt’s last fall and highly recommended them to us. They worked with Trinh as their designer, and raved about her work, so we decided to follow up with her. From start to finish, Trinh was a pleasure to work with. Her background and experience in design helped guide us through the planning stages, including the selection of cabinets, flooring, countertops, tile, and hardware. She listened to our wish list and worked within our budget to design a kitchen that checked all the boxes. Trinh was especially astute at helping us with color choices and cabinet choices that made our new kitchen more ergonomically functional. Her attention to detail and excellent communication throughout the project helped instill confidence in Bernhardt’s from day one. The computer-generated images she provided allowed us to see what the final design would look like when finished. We really appreciated the convenience of Bernhardt’s remodel center that allowed us to pick out everything in one location, except for appliances. Their selection is extensive, allowing us to look at samples side-by-side to coordinate colors and materials. Our project began on the exact date projected several months in advance and was completed on time and on budget. Todd, the owner, was on site the first day and checked in regularly throughout the 4-week project. We can’t say enough about Bernhardt’s work crew, especially Royce, Jackson, and Todd’s son who did all of the electrical work. They began at 7:30 each morning and worked non-stop throughout the day. Their work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail were impeccable. They were easy to talk to, asked for our input as needed, and left the job site clean at the end of each day. The outcome exceeded our expectations going into the project.
