A: Thank you for the question. I commissioned a local artist to replicate a painting by Georgia O'keeffe with my specification for size. Sadly, my artist has since passed away. So I am very fortunate to have this lovely piece. **Q: Need Help arrange furniture in LIVINGROOM** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hello, we now been living here for 5 months and i still can't figure out how to furnish our living room. Were starting from scratch so all the furniture and a new tv will be purchased. We like it with the sectional but we have NO place for the TV. Im not gonna hang it over the fire place. If we hang it on the wall to the right side of the white built in and the french door it will hide the beautiful built in where i plan on keeping my decorative items. Our problem we running into is, we would like to have 3 views 1 - fire place (would like to be our main focal point 2 - tv 3 - the pool patio area outside the french doors. we have no kids so we don't need to worry about being kid friendly. 2 tiny dogs though. I would appreciate any help/suggestions i can get. thanks in advance Karin A: You need a TV wall, here is an idea from one of our designs to help. **Q: help needed with family room layout** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hi, we have a 300 sq ft family room that we are trying to figure out the furniture layout (please see floorplan below). The side of the wall shown at the top of this floor plan has a number of large windows and two doors connecting to the deck. We would like to fit in an L-shaped sectional and a TV in the room, with the sectional facing the TV. An example of the sectional we are considering can be found at the link below. The contractor mentioned we cannot mount the TV above the fireplace, due to the materials of the wall (the chimney is right behind it), so the TV perhaps has to go to the 20' wall without the deck doors. As such, the back of the sectional would face the deck doors, with 3-4 ft left for the door to open. However, the dilemma is that the sectional would be blocking part of the fireplace, with the above set-up. Any thoughts on how to change the layout a bit to accommodate our needs? We decided to keep our existing sectional for now and added this white chaise. I was going to try an art just big enough to cover the niche . If that doesn't work we will address that issue later . My mother's only request is for a larger tub/shower with a half shower glass. Currently the lighting in the bathroom is horrendous. I would love something fresh and airy as there is no window to bring in natural lighting. Also we have a weird awkward space where currently we have a storage cube. I was thinking maybe we could do built storage of some kind as the bathroom is small. Any suggestions regarding colour, tiling, etc would be a great help!
